Who has PS2 and X-box problems?

i don't know who already talked about this but as probably some of you know, People have discovered a while ago that thers a major problem with ps2 and x-box, after a year or so of usage...the eye(which scans th cd) and the whole programmed stuff has f***ed up and makes it impossible to play games that haven't been played on your ps2 yet.

I would just like to know from you people at Ngemu... who has had this problem? about 11 people at school i know have bought their Ps2 last year and now have it.

Nintendo must be happy that they didn't use the same technology...they're starting to sell more gamecubes lately even though the games o it suck.

ive also had mine since then and no probs.
i would suggest trying to get a cd lens cleaner disc. if that doesnt work, get an electrician to adjust the pots. finally, buy a new laser if all else fails.

What do you mean the eye you must be referring to the laser that reads the disk well the cdrom has one , the dvd and maybe other hardware that uses optical technology for storage.

well, since xbox hasnt really been out a year, i would assume that this does not really apply to it atm. so i would hope that you dont mean you have bought two of those things..

The original rival to the VHS video was the betamax VCR. It had superior picture quality and better storage than VHS, but lost out because ppl were conned by mass marketing (see sig).
