Arcade Tekken 4 hanged!

Today i was playing Tekken4 using Christie (damn! all the guys who were watching me playing the game even asked me dont't press the start button after i won! They wanted to see her winning poses, ehehe) and when i hitting Nina until she banged on the wall nicely and wanted to hit more, the game hanged! Grrrrr

Ok, complaint done. Lets talk about my first impresstion about this game. Hmmm...What can i say besides KICK ASSSSSSS!!!!!! The DOA3 that put beside Tekken4 just does not look good compare to Tekken4 IMHO. The character design is really GREAT!

I was also shocked when the first time i met Heihachi... i guess everyone who has seen him in Tekken4 will agree... imo, he looks like a turtle...

And for the opening movie, kazzuya looks so DAMN cool man! I suspect those CG makers are from Holliwood! KICK ASS quality!

yea, as a fighting game, i think so. And for character design,i also think Tekken4 is better. Doa3 does look abit fake..hmmm. i mean when the time u hit ur oppenent, the feeling in Tekken4 is really great when u hit someone, especially when u hit them until they bang on the wall, i feel so evil when i keep on hitting them on the wall ,BANG BANG! eheheh

The girls in DOA3 also not as good as i heard... most of them look cartoonish...IMHO...

I do not trust pics like that.
Often they are pre-renders, making everything look prettier than it is in reality...allthough I'm sure DOA3 looks quite good.

Tekken gets points for being more button mashable in my book. DoA 3 requires a little more skill.

one things for sure though, I like DOA2 a lot (and not because of the girls...at least, that's not the main reason.....I think....).

They're not fake, Samor, I thought they were too, but I saw in a TV show here in PT a some In Game Videos and it's really like that, I was stunned, the water reflect in the first pic is one off the things that amaze me. Here's another. This cenery was in one of the fights in the show i saw and it was the same.

Check the background on this one:

the effects and all are probably there, but the resolution is most likely not like that. I mean, the pic is so clear, usually that's not the case in the real games (even though it will probably look stunning).

Corrected, It's samor now, Dammit, the pics ain't working...

I also like DOA more then Tekken cause of the game play, (and the babes), the action in DOA is way better the Tekken, all those counters etc etc..., it's just amazing. I dumped Tekken Tag after Getting DOA2 for the PS2.

they should port doa3 to pc.
Throw in a multiplayer online mode and I think it could be a great effort to get rid of the old and ugly "console games are not for pc's"-bias.

Don't get me wrong. I still think Tekken is a great game! Even more realistic, but DOA keeps me more entertained

Face it, no one bothers to port fighters over to the PC. They think it's like trying to port FPS's to consoles (Which they go ahead an do anyway.

well, if everything goes well there should be a fighter for pc again in a while:
www.omf.com
it's about the sequel to One must fall: 2097, a pretty good fighter for the PC, released back in 1995.

I know, it's just they seem to negect us poor PC users who must resort to emulation to relieve those Jet li tendancies. (OMF ruled. I hope they dont frell up the sequel)

I get the impression many companies THINK fighters dont do well on a pc, but personally I think that was caused by a long tradition of (relatively) crappy ports. If they would make a fighter highly optimized for pc, I think things could be very different.
