It's an alternative keyboard layout, as opposed to the much more commonly used QWERTY keyboard. Look here for more info:

i was just wondering if it is really worth it to learn how to type with new technology and stuff. i currently am looking at my fingers when i type. Currently the computer can read 95% of our words and in the future it may be perfect
so should i take the extra time to learn how to type properly or not???

Lazy batard j/k

Anyhow, yes you should. What happens if you're stranded somewhere with only a typewriter, and your life depends on it?

(believe it or not, I was in a situation similar to that before... good thing I knew how to type then!)

Oh, I used the time travel option that comes with ePSXe 1.6.0, and got it from the future.

there would never be a situation like that and if there was i would just take out my laptop and throw away the typewriter. so once again are there any INTELLEGENT reasons (im not saying kari00 is dumb, it was just the reply) why i should learn to type or not

What if you become a secret agent, and the evil boss dude asks you to type out the entire of war and peace in 5 seconds or he will kill you?
