Joanne Hogg - wow

So I decided to check out the Kokoro Single from Xenosaga, and I have only one thing to say. Why has only Yasunori Mitsuda seemed to figure out Joanne Hogg has such a good voice? I'm not exactly one for English songs, but she has done some amazing pieces, especially Kokoro (wow).

It has nothing to do with dissing FF8. It's just a lousy song. Considering she got paid a million to do the song, I'd expect a heck of a lot more. It isn't the worst song I've ever heard, but it's definitely not worth the money.

I'd have to agree with Ryos there. I just heard the song the other day and had severe issues with it. Nope, haven't beat ff8 yet, at the rate I'm getting play time it'll probably be this time next year grr. And don't worry Raziel, I don't think ff8 is as bad as people make it out to be!

I don't mind the song too much. Some kid played Melody of Life and Eyes On Me during an assembly. Thank god no one else has played the games, as he would've been killed on the spot. I don't like him, though.

well, i actually like the song.. i don't really care how much she was paid.. it really fit the mood when it was used.. i almost freaking cried

on those occasions.. a lot can be said bout the game, i have some issues with it myself.. but twas probably one of the best game endings i've seen, .. at least cinematically.. (you'll soon see gerbilcannon)

Eyes on Me sounds good in the scene it's in, it just makes me cringe in pain when I listen to it as casual music. However, that probably has more to do with the scene than the song.

No need to be mad. It's not everyday that someone becomes candy. Remember the lesson learned from Tom Sawyer: Everyone wants to do the chore. No, I don't know how it correlates to this, but somehow it does

allow me: when tom sawyer tries to get the others to do his chores, he pretends it to be fun so they will do it for him. now, by calling Xeven a candy, you are connecting him to candy, which everyone enjoys. now, if you want candy, you have to go to the store. but do you really WANT to go to the store? no. you'll want to get someone else to go to the store by convincing them they want candy too.

that is how they are connected.
