I like to think of it as "well lived in".

There is stuff all over the shop, but it is generally in tidy clumps here and there that don't look too out of place. My room hasn't had a proper tidy in about 4 years though, as I only use it for storage and a place to sleep.

My room is generally pretty messy... Not intolerable, but not really spotless either.

An organized mess.

Hahaha, pot always has that effect on me. Smoke a bowl and clean for a few hours. Pot always increases my productivity, especially in that regard.

On average my room is very clean, sometimes more than others, but it's far from messy.

I'll say I'm pretty organized and neat. I have to be that way or else I'll keep forgetting where I put stuff. The books are put on its proper shelf sorted alphabetically, I put the furniture in a circular manner, so I have a free open space in the middle. The main problem is the dust. When it's not raining or it's very dry, there is a lot of dust coming into my house. I have a hard time keeping my PC or laptop dust free. I usually sweep the floor every 2-3 days and mop every once a week.

I try to keep my room clean and orderly, doesn't mean stuff doesn't pile up. I clean it out once a week, I wish the dust would go away makes me dust everyday. When I used to have carpet in the house all the dust would be in the carpet now since I have wood floors dust is on my things

*Reasonable*

Just cleaned today, and is looking very nice. In time it will be messed up though, and will have to be cleaned again.

My place has been upgraded this year from ****hole to shameful.

Sad thing is it is all because of my roomate. Over the summer when I lived alone and he moved back home my place was what I would consider respectable. Not spotless by any means but the place was regularly cleaned and there were never stuff all over the floor. Basically the kind of place where you are not ashamed to have guests over. I regularly threw out my trash and picked up my mess right away so it never piled up.

Now that he is back it is pretty shameful. My room is ok. What I would call an organized mess. I have some books and school stuff in one corner, my shoes and jackets in another corner, and not much else of a mess really. All my clothes are in the dresser and extra books and video games are in boxes in the closet.

His room is god awful. Clothes, books, papers, trash, and occasional dirty dishes on the floor. When you walk in there you literally have to climb around.

Now in the kitchen and living room it is pretty bad. The kitchen table is covered with dirty dishes and trash. None of it mine. Still an improvement from last year when in addition to the kitchen table the stove and counter tops were covered in dirty dishes and trash.

The living room has a few of his anime DVDs on the floor, some trash, an occasional dirty piece of silverware, and the box and packaging and his ab excersize machine that he never uses leaning up against the wall. Still a vast improvement from last year when you could hardly walk in there.

Basically he is cleaner this year than last year but still has a long way to go. Last year I would refuse to have any guests over it was too embarassing. Now I can have guests over I just have to apologize that my room mate is so messy.

My place is kinda messy.
Not trash on the floor kinda messy, but clothes and some computer parts lying around

I did have it quite tidy a few weeks back, I just need to continue being tidy like that.
It's nice having a tidy place, makes me kinda happy walking in the door.

Reasonable.
Mrs Silenus works too, so whenever one of us has the time, we do the cleaning.
Besides I don't mind doing the cleaning while she cooks.

Eh... I think it's okay. Papers accumulate, but clothes stay organized well enough.

Right now hard choosing between "Reasonable" and "Some Mess". I can see dust on floor and on my display. Everything else is reasonable. I need to clean my room this week.
