Coca Cola is better any day and every day

As for the difference...well Coke is sharper and has a more defined taste whereas Pepsi has a lighter flatter taste.

Well, I've been drinking either Coca Cola Zero or Pepsi Max lately and I can tell the difference... I can also tell the difference between Zero and Light as well as the real one. And same thing with Pepsi and Pepsi Max...

Pepsi Max is better I think... Its cheaper too...

At home we have the cheap brand, IF we have cola at all. When drinking cola while being out the question is irrelevant, as you drink what they have. I used to be a Pepsi fan, but nowadays I prefer Coke I think.

The difference isn't even half as relevant as when it comes to beer.

I don't really like either that much. 150ish calories for 12 fluid onces is really unessacary. Carbonated sugar water, bleh. And diet pop sucks.

No clue, it just says "Cola" and it tastes like it. I don't drink it enough to care, I switched to carbonated water + syrup. Less corrosive and less sugar.

Between zero calories and diet/regular? Yes. Interestingly, I think Coke Zero tastes better than diet Coke.

Coke Zero was the best invention yet... very little difference in taste from the original coke and zero calories... I know it seems weird worrying about calories, I normally don't asI has a high metabolism, but I realize now, after drinking straight soda for a year (I got it for free at my work), that it is definitely the difference between obesity and being healthy....

PEPSI for the whole freaking world!!! Coca Cola is indeed better in taste but only if is cold otherwise the taste changes and its not that good... in other hands PEPSI is cheaper here and it tastes better even if is warm.

anyways nothing but absolutely nothing can beat the "Merengue" drink:

That's interesting. I also had the opinion that coke was better than pepsi for a long time, and until very recently it was always my preference. However, I heard of something called the pepsi/coke challenge which claimed that once you take regular coke and regular pepsi out of the packaging, it was virtually impossible to tell the difference between taste. (Based on the results of 10,000 test subjects apparently.) I wasn't sure, and neither were my friends, so I tried this with two of them a couple weeks back - and found it to be true (for us at least). Once out of the packaging, neither of them could tell the difference. They were just as surprised as me. Consequentially I've been buying pepsi ever since instead (because it's cheaper) and to me it now tastes just as good. I invite you to try the same test yourselves and see what you find. (Regular pepsi and regular coke, same temperature of course.)

Apparently coca-cola tastes better to many people because of the psychological effects the advertising (and therefore the packaging) has on the consumer. I hear coca-cola are one of the very few companies in the world which conduct research into this area.

as Cola addict myself am able to find differences between both.. one of them is that Pepsi is slightly sweeter than Cola. when both are cold the differences are small tho.. only a professional cola addicted person like me could tell you the differences between both products even closing my eyes.

the difference get bigger if you drink both of them while they aren´t cold. Cola is slightly Acidly which makes a bad taste sometimes specially if you drink more than 4 liters while Pepsi is still nice to drink at that temp. even though when both of them are cold Cola is the unbeatable winner but.... the Dominican "Merengue" drink beat them all!!!!
