Some people just don't get it, if you don't wanna be responsible for your children, then don't become parents.
'Lazy parenting' is an oxymoron.

A chemical introduced to the body is a chemical whether it be via liquid spray that is inhaled or via a pill with talcum powder filler that is digested. I don't care how you desire to classify it. You are still introducing a foreign chemical into the body specifcally to alter the normal functioning of the brain.

Infact inhalation is the most potent means of delivery of a chemical to the brain, short of injecting it directly into the blood stream. Much more potent then digestion. This is why people can eat cocaine and only get a minor high, while inhilation of cocaine powder fries the brain. Same can be applied to Ritalin. On the streets its crushed and turned into r-ball which is snorted and has similar potency and damaging effect as cocaine.

Spyhop, you've never taken any psychiatric medication and your knowledge on the subject is probably limited to what can be read on some pharmaceutical company's website, plus a few articels on minor corruption in the industry obtained via the newspaper or magazine, so no offense but stop talking out of your ass.

Do you even know what the term 'drug' means?

It means any substance that induces physical or mental effect to alter regular body function.

BS. Everything can cause a chemical reaction in the brain. Spanking your kid is going to cause an adrenaline surge every time. Spanking your kid everytime it does something wrong isn't going to turn him/her into an adrenaline junkie.

The worst effect something like this is going to cause a kid is a future inability to express frustration and anger. But as far as chemical depednence goes, you're all talking out your ass.

Are you dumb or what... your body function is based on chemical reactions...
and chemical reactions are actually physic reactions between atoms.

chemical has noun and adj form, but they don't mean the same thing...

drug is external chemical, that is the point.

One simple question for spyhop, how do you think signal is transferred through nerves?

That is the brain producing its own chemicals reacting to stimuli, not injection of foreign chemicals into the brain.

In all likely hood this injection of dopamine will cause dependance, as other hormone substitutes such as introduction of foreign testosterone or foreign adrenaline can create dependence.

Don't sing to your kids if they're upset. It produces a chemicals reaction in their brains.
Don't make them laugh.
Don't ever give them a candy.

A smell is just another form of stimulus. Your only hangup is that it's chemical. Well so what, so is everything. That stuff could be nothing more than mild perfume.
Like I said, using that **** as an emotional crutch is dumb. But you're all carrying on like it's ****ing blow or something.

There are many types of dependencies as well, behavioral, hormonal, and etc.

Dependency can simply be:
Every time the kid wants to talk, he needs to sniff that thing.

I was thinking the same thing.

I'm going to quote myself randomly now:

You didn't answer my question, but here is teh answer since you are so myopic.
your entire nerve system is a chemical reaction chamber based on ion gradient.

Giving external drug to alter total normal behavior is the main point of this entire argument.
There are chemical reaction everywhere ever since your first protein is formed in side your mom's womb, but those are internally released.

Internal chemicals release when certain events are triggers is what you call behavior, smart one.
Addiction is an example of behavior.

Besides, laughing is natural.

Singing is natural.

Those things aren't going to hurt anyone. Those things are in fact good for you. What we keep trying to tell you, Spyhop, is that this fragrance is being abused and it's not natural. It's wrong. When people abuse things like this, they are considered a drug. And they can develop into serious addictions.

What's even more horrifying, is that these parents are doing this to their children that still haven't learned how to talk or don't have a good enough vocabulary to be fully understood. They don't have the voice to speak up. They don't know it's wrong. They trust their parents.

The people with a brain have to be the ones to speak up for these children since they can't speak up for themselves.

spyhop, if you still don't get it then:

WHY THE HECK WOULD YOU GIVE A DRUG TO A CHILD FOR A BEHAVIOR THAT IS TOTALLY NORMAL?!

internal chemical release is trivial to this argument.
