Jenova save file editor

Alright, I'm using eSPXe 1.5.2 to play FFVII, and I'm trying to work with the Jenova editor in order to, well obviously, edit the save file.

The problem I'm running into though, is that when in the Jenova program, it can't seem to locate the save files, and when I manually bring it to the "memory card" part of the emulator, it still can't find them.

Any one know what I am doing wrong?

sorry to say but it looks like that program is only for the pc version of final fantasy 7 and not the psx version

Hmm, you wouldn't happen to know of a psx version than would you?

What is the program really for if you don't mind me asking? You could always PEC if you want to mod your game (i.e. money, status, materia, etc.)

I mostly wanted to improve the money I have and the rate at which materia level, so I can get mastered materia easily.

In that case, just use PEC (PSX Emulation Cheater) if you're using ePSXe. It is basically a gameshark code engine, and you can mod the money, how much EXP or AP you get after a battle, etc using it. It's provided somewhere within the site or you can just google it.

I just wanted to thank verboten for the help! Really, thank, now I can play FF7 to my hearts content ^^

but do remember to make a backup save (memory card save) because some codes do corrupt your save files or crash the game. Enjoy you game mate
