Was Valentine's Day the thirteenth or the fourteenth? If it's the thirteenth, it was actually a pretty good day this year. If it's the fourteenth, I agree it's the most depressing day of the year.

Yep...worse than that, everyone loves to rub it in your face by reminding you THEY have a significant other to look out for them. >_<

Don't even get me started.

I just got an IM from my ex of a year ago saying how happy she is with her new boyfriend. It makes me wan't to improve my marksmanship.

At least there are a few benefits for being a loveless geek.

Unfortunately, that still doesn't help me feel better around the cursed Valentine's Day.

Well if you're in California like I am, valentines day is not for another two hours. For me, it's never been a different day, I just don't hang around ppl who might rub it in on that day.

That's EXACTLY the problem. I wouldn't even notice it if people didn't bring it up. The problem is some people insist on mentioning it ("Happy Valentine's Day! We hope you have fun with that special someone in your life!"). Grah! :rockets:

At least try to not feel worse, or a bullet might get to your brain

Note: This love thing is getting on my nerves.

No guts, no glory.

Make your move.

To the persistent goes the rewards.

...and that's all I have to say about love.

Persistent? The only thing I know that gets something being persistent with women is a fly, they get really squashed.

...which, depending on the definition of "love," could refer to a number of situations entirely inappropriate for discussion in "Valentine's Day." I know the first thing I thought of was a very dark interpretation.
