- should i start playing the game, since i finished xenogears?
- Is it any good?

It rocks on toast. It is definately worth playin. It ain't like Xenogears; It's a strategy RPG, quite different battle system.

I've been hearing u guy talking about Xenogears quite a bit lately, and I was wondering if some1 could give me a brief summery of the story and/or gameplay and whether it's worth getting or not.

yeah, my friend borrowed me his copy, but after taking five minutes or more to end the 1st battle i dont know if i have the patience to this

Xenogers is definietly worth buying, youll enjoy every second of it (i hope). the storyline is the best ive seen till now, and involves sery serious matters such as religion (wich made the game nearly not to be release in the US) and other.

so long as you take the time to make your characters better (i.e. train) you should be alright.

the first battle is hard because all your people SUCK.

(tip on main map screen, hit triangle, and search around in the menus, when you can see the party members hit triangle again to edit jobs and such

i never liked xenogears or ff tactics
the 3 u should really play are valkyrie profile, parasite eve 2 and Tales of Destiny 2

Xenogears main story is about Xenophobia(hence the title),but it's not treated in a direct way,and while talking about racism,it also shows how religions manipulate people's minds(which I think is true),and how religion can be related(or not)to racism.

The whole game is great,but you can also play just to hear the musics,awesome they are(Yoda style

FFT is definetly worth playing unless you're not into the whole strategy part of it. the story is good and involving with many surprises. the only thing is that it can sometimes be frustrating if you're characters are inexperienced.

Yup,I remember one tim when I had to fight against all sorts of chocobos in a river and my characters weren't strong enough,the problem was that I couldn't do any other battle to level up,so I had to restart a new game

i almost had to start over with that 1 on 1 Weigraf fight. that battle sucks. its the worst one in the game.

Depends on what job you're hero has learned,but I never had any problem against Wiegraf.

i must have chosen a stupid class. i think i remember how i beat him. i had to run around the outside of the room shooting him with my gun. took a while.

i think i was learning the chemist abilities at that point. i have a habit of learning the classes in order that they appear. unfortunetly, at some point for some reason EVERYONE will be a chemist or archer. doesnt create a winning party seeing how archers are one of the worst classes.
