Final Fantasy the Spirits Within cost over 150 million to make. The 60 second ad "A boys Dream" (about the 2004 Corvette) was $5,000,000 to produce. CG companies charge big bucks.....they have commercial render farms, not some guys living in a *******ing basement. Even in games, CG (FMV) are bar none, the costliest aspect of the film/game besides advertising.

I said i was joking with the basement part :/ Well actually FF the spirit within had a cost of: $137 million (including marketing costs). (source wikipedia ) While the Dark Knight for example had a estimated cost of: $185,000,000 (source IMDB) While The Invention of Lying had an estimated budget of $4.000.000. Wanted weapons of fate had a estimated budget of $65.000.000. So it depends on the movie, while a standard cgi can get more expensive then a normal movie if they add cgi and effects + a good team to a movie it can surpass cgi in costs.

Does Jim Carry ever does his own stunts especially ones that doesn't have any insurance, since they are way too dangerous.

Jim Carry i would have expected something better common Jim Carry compared to Jackie Chan ? no contest i seen Jim Carry act in various flicks and for him to be good in a movie the following requirements must be meant: usually (not always i admit) its gotta be a comedy and he has to make a complete idiot out of himself which can be at times funny at times irritating to watch. Now on the other hand we have Jackie who can play a multitude of roles be it comedy or a more serious movie like a drama for example, does his own stunts, a treasure for action films (due to his talent for moves & stunts) but he can act just as good.

i think Jason scott lee fits either as LAW or JIN but to me he would fit better as JIN... ![]() ![]() as for LAW... since the perfect double(Bruce Lee) is dead the only one that could perform a great action is the one and only Jet-Li! my favorite Chinese actor. Jason scott lee may have the face of Bruce lee but when it comes to fighting style and movements Jet-Li is the only actor that comes closer. ![]() ![]() another actor that could perform as LAW is Robin Shou:

Yes. I agree, but he resembles Bruce Lee a lot (Face like). And he is a good actor. As for Jet Li, I doubt he'll make part in this movie, it seems he isn't acting anymore on Kung-Fu movies. Quote:

Yep but this is old news. It's from january 20th, 2006. I think his last holywood Kung-Fu movie was 2005's Danny the Dog. Great movie Btw. Fearless- 2006 (Huo Yuan Jia) is a chinese movie actually and his last Kung Fu movie afaik. |

Since we are talking about Jet Li slightly off topic: Does anyone remember the name of the movie when he was a chinese police officer (or agent whatever) sent to France and the police chief there set him up and he ended up helping some hooker. I remember i loved that movie but i can't remember the name.
