I found the floppy disk the best and most informative ad out of the whole lot, because I never knew that unless I bought a BASF diskette, then my other faulty products would become compromised by wayward hammers and flying cups.

I suppose, speaking more realistically, you could be reaching for a hammer on the utility shelf that just happens to have a floppy disk underneath it, then drop the hammer. Or perhaps the coffee mug has hot coffee in it, and that's what makes it deadly. And maybe the paper wad has a 30 pound lead weight inside it that could easily crush all flimsy floppy disks that aren't BASF certified.

Since BASF had created the floppy with unlimited protection against a hostile world, I wonder if they were able to create any other products with similar legendary protection.

This doesn't showcase BASF's legendary magnetic media protection, but it emphasizes why I stopped listening to 8 track...

Apparently BASF has quite a few interesting ads. Might even be worthy of their own thread.

I think what would be more realistic is how many people really use Floppy drives, let alone floppy disc? Sure getting my 98 recovery floppy to troubleshoot something is all well and good... but I don't think I have used a floppy in like 3-4 years...

My computer doesn't have a floppy drive. Plus we have like 2 working spare ones, but why bother?

How could you have not noticed the BASF box behind the diskette? It comes with the same force field protection.

I naturally assumed that the diskette had such protection that it gave side effect protection to any nearby objects.

I envy you. You must live in the highest quality, protected area in the entire world, thanks to the BASF factory.

Ok jokes aside, I love these old school ads, the artistry is nothing short of magnificent and the descriptions are absolutely superb.
