Seriously, this is not a movie you watch for an engaging storyline, you watch it for great spec effects and it provides you with a mind blowing sfx fest.

Star Trek is worth multiple viewings. Transformers 2, not so much.

No movie is worth multiple viewings.....

Spoiler:
except Gladiator

Anyway, just watched Slum-dog Millionaire (yes a bit late I know). I'd give it a 9.3/10.

Very good movie, interesting plot, very emotional and heart-touching as well. That said, I don't think it was worth that many awards. The first half was the best, was interesting to see how he grew up in the slums and survived as an orphan. But the second half was just a generic love-story.

All in all, excellent movie, but definitely over-hyped.

Yet You give it 9.3 even, then one wonders what rating actually entitles hype And what is it that is worth 0.3 points?

Well, silly commenting aside: I'd give Slumdog a 9 i believe

I find people who rate Watchmen so low simply don't understand the central point of the movie. My brother did the same thing. He went into the theatre expecting a superhero movie. Mistake.

Harry Potter: HPB 6/10

Honestly, they cut out so much, filling everything with rubbish which isn't even happening in the book. The acting was very good. Slughorn was great. Kid and teen Tom Riddle was brilliant. But... I am not a person who expects a movie to strictly follow a novel it has been based upon, but when it doesn't follow the book at all is a different matter.

Spoiler:

I didn't even feel I watched Harru Potter movie, it was so confusing at times that I didn't know at what point of the book the movie was. There was too much emphasis on Harry and Ron's love stories. They cut out Bill and Fleur completely, same with Lupin and Tonks. Nothing about sacking Fudge and Scrimgeour taking over. Since when Death Eaters could fly?? What was that scene with attack on the Burrows? I suppose it will be magically repaired in the next movie. Where did Arthur Weasley know about Draco's mission from? Why the hell the Elderly Wand hasn't been buried with Dumbledore's body? Speaking of which, why did they leave out the funeral? What about the battle with Death Eaters? And so on and so on...

Also, the title is Half-Blood Prince, but it seems to be a really insipid thing here. Only at the end Snape admits he's the one, albeit he does it in a "I'm the Half-Blooded Prince, k?" fashion...

First four movies where very good and accurate. It seems to get worse now :/

lol I just watched the Order of the Pheonix (thought I'd watch the fifth before moving on to the sixth). Give it an 8/10. They cut out quite a few bits from the book but overall it was still pretty good.

P.S. Special Effects were fantastic as always.
