Did it actually have a story about the transformers and not some cheesy teenage love story like the first one did...

Well look at Windows, it sells the best but it still sucks... When people gather they mysteriously lose brain matter and become more stupid, that's why I don't crowds! And yes I agree, Titanic sucks big time... I think the best part of it was when DiCaprio went down with the ship!

it happens. People go to watch a movie because of something and end up with something else.

Transformers - went to see robot action but got lots of crappy love story

Cloverfield - went to see the kick ass misterious Monster, end up with unrealistic crappy love story

Titanic - went to see the loltastic sinking part, end up with crappy love story

Well, I actually liked cloverfield though I agree that it would've worked better without the crappy love story part...

It's not as bad as you think it actually is a good film. I would recommend watching it.

The hangover 10/10 this film is hilarious

Hey I never said the movie itself was bad, but it could've been so much better... And I was simply asking how many of you liked the teeenage love story crap in it.

Terminator4 - 4/10.
McG seems to have crushed even more the Terminator Franchise.
Skynet seems to be the most stupid AI never created (I capture Kyle Reese and instead of killing him, I put him in a cell waiting for someone to save him).
Bale is overplaying his role. He doesn't have really apprehend who could be John Connor (But with a scenario like that, sure he couldn't).
Whorthington have the right tone but his end is ridiculous. (So "cliché").
The rest of the actors? There were others?
Where the heck is James Cameron???

Transformers 2 - 8/10

The only reason I can think of that people would think the love-interest part of the movie was misplaced, is that they're embarrassed about the fact that it does tug the heartstrings near the end. No spoilers, go see it for yourself. I gotta admit, Shia LaBoeuf was much better in this film than he was in the first one. The REASON I only give this an 8 is because of the situation with Optimus Prime. Michael Bay (or whomever wrote the story) should've followed in the footsteps of the original Star Wars trilogy where the 2nd movie had more of a 'down' ending.

Transformers 2
4/10

I gave it 4 points for fighting robots. That's it. The story was retarded and contrived. It wasn't told well. So many scenes were superfluous. They were either completely unnecessary or drawn out too long. And what pissed me off the most is that Michael Bay had a second chance to do some real Transformer character development and still didn't.

The first transformers was mostly about humans and the only transformer you really got to know was Optimus. I forgave it because it was awesome. But I was really hoping that the second movie would focus a lot more on the charters of the Transformers, like the cartoon did. But no, it once again was a human drama with some robot fights injected into it. Arcee has like one line. Ironhide also barely had any. Ditto Ratchet. Bumblebee couldn't talk again. There was some other new autobots that you didn't even learn their names. It's so infuriating. They go through all the trouble of making TWO movies about fighting robots, and they do it with the attitude that, "oh, the public doesn't care about the robots, make it about people". It's such a bloody contradiction.

argh.

It's not about people nor robots. It's about big explosions and bigger explosions. Noone recieved any character development in both Transformer movies. Michael Bay just put the characters so he could blow them up.

What I'm trying to say is, you had wrong expectations for the movie and that's why you ended up so dissapointed.

I went in expecting huge explosions and huge robot battles, and that's what I got.

Bandwagon bullsh!t. Windows is successful because it provides an open-hardware platform that is highly software compatible. Something no one else does.

The other day I watched:

Push 6/10.
Had some nice effects but nothing spectacular.
Story could have been better.

Taken 10/10.
Whoah this movie is awesome.
I got some more respect for Liam Neeson.
Amazing action movie.
Story might sound like it's done a lot of times before, but it's the way that he gets things done that make you feel for him. He's unstoppable towards his goals.
Highly recommended.

Transformers 2 - 7/10

Eh, I enjoyed it. The dramatic moments were a bit overly done, story was a bit messed and the ending really felt rushed. A big negative note was how most of the transformers didn't get a decent size dialogue like the first movie...

I'll probably go see it again just cause a few friends haven't seen it yet.
