Yeah, I liked Speed Racer too.
Also agreed on no country for old men. Ending was too wtf.
Zombie Stippers was frigging classic though. It was SUPPOSED to be cheesy. 7/10 from me.

Not interested in Speed Racer.
I saw No Country for Old Men, the movie had a moment but the ending was abrupt. I expected more from it.

Get Smart - 7/10

Not too bad...it feels strange though like it can't really decide what it wants to be and find it's own identity among all the spy spoofs and good spy movies...also deadpan should be left to the brittish...

I thought it was loyal to the cartoon and artistically amazing at the same time. What would you have changed?

i though that too about speed racer, until i saw it, it was a nice movie

i know it is kinda weird, but once you are watching it you will be trapped, no boring moments and drifting is really nice in races

it seems like a kids movie like spy kids but hell no, is just a fun movie with many artistic stuff, even cool for old people

Bloodsport - 9 /10

Never gets old. This movie is a classic. Love the cheesy dialogues, crappy acting, the outdated music and the funny faces and fighting sequences.

And Chong Li is the best!

From Dusk till Dawn - 7.5/10
No Country for Old Men - 7/10. I echo the sentiments expressed earlier. That said, it still has a certain cool factor.

Double Impact - 7.5/10

Another good one. Not as funny and classic as BS but still very entertaining.

Taken- 8.5/10
A swiss cheese plot plus mindless hardcore action made me want to strangle the person nearest me from the sheer awesomeness of the film. I love Liam Neeson(no homo).

Cool Runnings

As a youngster I loved this film, but as an adult I love it even more. Based on the true story of the first Jamaican Bobsled team it follows the 4 aspiring young Jamaicans and their ridiculed, disgraced coach on a journey of self discovery. Being a Disney film it is very family oriented, but that does nothing to hold back the several heart warming messages the film has to show. Derice's realization that winning the gold is not the be all and end all, Jr's overcoming of his fathers pushing ways and Brenner's acceptance and embrace of his countrymen of whom he has been so disgusted with for so long. And Sanka kisses his egg.

I can't help but keep a smile on my face after watching this movie as it truly is heart warming. It could have easily been adapted to being a great expose into the struggles of an afterthought, rag-tag team that no one would give two hoots about, if it were filmed in a more serious and more adult tone, and although it does touch on this aspect that is the basis of the film albeit in simple detail it does nothing to hinder the great story that is to be told.

Cool Runnings will always be a great film to help us all believe in who we are, no matter what colour or creed. One of the best family films around, not even its age can hold it back.

8.9/10

The Skeleton Key - 9/10

Pretty original for a horror movie, hence the 9/10 score.

Scarface 7/10
"You ***** with me, you **** with the best!"

Good film, Al pacino was great as Tony, his performance here is awesome, the movie suffered from some flaws though.

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest 10/10
Perfection, the story is so powerful and touching, the whole cast was awesome, the acting is epic here from all characters, the lighting, everything is just so good, it's all tied with a perfect ending.

A clockwork Orange ?/10
I don't know how I feel about this one, it's just too....unique, it's not like anything I've seen before despite being too old movie. I just don't know...
The first half was very graphical and violence, I thought I was watching Saw from the 70's. The second half was great, it has more character development and more drama in it. The ending was....weird.

I'll watch this again next weekend. Maybe I'd be able to judge it!
