Not as bad imo, plot was a little cliched but ok.
Jet li was supposed to get killed by a hitman, but he kills the guy and disguise himself as the hitman to climb up the ladder of ranks and kill the guy that ordered his family and his assasination.
But I won't watch it again.

most of action's movies depend on Effects more than the "acting" there are few good action actors, for example Bruce willes.

Pineapple Express- 8/10

Great entry in the "Stoner Film" genre, fairly humorous throughout, a few laugh out loud moments thrown in. Seth Rogen was good as always, and the 15th mention of him being Jewish had me laughing my ass off(It was also mentioned in Superbad when Seth was one of the cops). Having just watched Hot Rod(which I forgot to put on here... 8.5/10 from average person's perspective, 10/10 from TLI fan's perspective, being me), I loved that Danny R. McBride(Rico in Hot Rod) played Red(loved how many times he got shot and lived, lol. Even survived an explosion) and that SNL cast member Bill Hader(Dave in Hot Rod) played Private Miller(I feel like..... A slice of butter, meltin on a big ol pile of flapjacks)(drum solo).

I had the pleasure of watching this movie eatlier today (Tues April 21st). I had not seen, nor heard of it before and my friend had not either. He was hesitant to watch it prior to today due to the drug use being a sensitive area for him.

However, he decided that he would finally put it in and watch it. I wasn't sure what to think about it; I myself am a little, for lack of a better word, sketchy when it comes to watching movies that deal with the harder drugs as well.

Regardless of this, we watched the film. The opening scene intriuged me and I had all my attention on the happenings from that point on. I actually held in a direly needed unination for the entire length, because it was such a gripping movie.

This was, in my opinion, some of Val's absolute best acting. His portrayal of the character was astounding and definately could not have been casted for anyone else. I'd like to say more, but I really don't want to say anything about this movie to anyone, except that it was absolutely a must see.

I give this movie a well deserved 5/5 and recommend anyone who hasn't seen it yet, do so. For those who have seen it. I have only three words:

WATCH IT AGAIN!!!

Pineapple Express was also retarded. Stoner movies are funny when there's actual jokes to be had (ie. Kevin Smith)....PE didn't have any. People simply behaving like morons with no though put into situational comedy or comedic dialogue is fail.

This is beyond cinema, it's like a nightmare coming to your tv, this was one of the most ****ed up movies I've ever seen, but unique at the same time.

The opening scene was the best thing about this, God Killing Himself.

Watched with a bunch of friends, one of us was on LSD, and you can't imagine how much that person freaked out after a while(drugs + this film = insanity).

I can't rate this movie, it's GOOD because it has a great art style(B&W), and creepy audio, it's BAD because it's too long, has no point, and I can't even call it a movie.

Great action scenes, hot chicks, over the top acting and cool cgi are why I'm giving this such a high rating.

There was no plot or story what so ever, the movie was full of plotholes, the dialogue was terrible, the movie laughably attempts to make some kind of characters development but it fails hard, all the drama/plot scenes feel like a filter for the next awesome action scene.

If you want a simple action movie to watch with your idiots friends then look no further, death race is for you!
