Just watched SCREAM, the original and the only one worth watching. Wes Craven makes some sick movies, the two sequels were piss weak but the first is worth a watch every now and again.

Just bought Terminator 2: Judgement Day DVD. Still to this day its one of the best science fiction movies ever to come out.

9.5/10

Is that the movie where it was only the two sisters in the middle of a war or something...

Spoiler:
who died of starvation in the end? I think I saw that a long time ago with my girlfriend, but I'm not sure if that's the same movie that I'm thinking of. If it is, then it was a truly sad movie indeed.
Spoiler:
The little boy's whole family died in front of him when he turned around.
Well, his mom survived but was really really badly burned; her face was rotten

Pickle, you have to realize that you're living in the past. This is 2008, almost 2009. Let it go.

On a serious note, Terminator 2 is one of my favorite sci-fi/action movies ever, and a pioneer is digital special effects that still can compete with modern day special effects in movies, but I don't talk about it every day as if it just came out in theaters last week.

Han**** 7/10 Pretty good movie.
Ironman 9/10 Great movie.
The Strangers 8.5/10 Starts out kind of slow but it was pretty good to watch especially the sound effects and the music.
28 Weeks Later 8/10 I enjoy zombie flicks though I thought some of the characters acted kind of like idiots.

Surprisingly enough I didn't own Terminator 2 until recently. All those quotes of terminator 2 I posted in the bin were because I found hilarity in stuff arnold schwarzenegger says.

Besides the special effects, the premise, delivery and execution of the movie is so superior to what is seen now days. Sarah Connors narrating past tense while the movie progressed was simply brilliant.

Overall the delivery of the movie is far superior to even the first matrix movie.

Indiana Jones and kingdom of the crystal skull - 8/10 :would've been 9 if there was no aliens involved... But I seriously like the Indiana Jones movies and this is the third best, better than Temple of Doom...

Doomsday - 4/10: Started in a great way, but tension dropped after the Mad Max copy catting started and finally hit the iron-reinforced concrete wall after the kane and his knights of the brown hole arrived... I liked the ending though

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull - 6.5/10 Not complete garbage, but the only good parts seemed to be the little jokes put in there. Action was meh, and it seemed like it was trying way too hard.

Ya movies can do that.

Yeah. I hope the new movie (Salvation) will erase the crappy T3 performance.

Ned

Watched this again for the 100th time and it is still piss funny. The premise of the film is that the truth behind Ned Kelly is that he wasn't a bush ranger, but a magician. Some truly hilarious moments in the film which mock all of Australia's history of the legendary bushranger. Abe Forscythe who starred and directed the film truly hit the mark with this film.

9.2/10

Damn double post......er ok.....

Terminator 2 is awesome. Been on my dvd shelf for some years now and it looks absolutely magical when upscaled to 1080p on the HDTV.

I'm hoping the same thing. T1 and T2 had the same exact elements from beginning to end that made the movies what they were (look at both back to back and you'll notice several similarities in the way the stories are set up). James Cameron took what was successful from the first movie and used it again and enhanced it in the second. He had a special formula that made the franchise successful and great. Then some newfag comes in a takes over the director's seat (because Cameron didn't want to direct T3 for some reason) and completely destroyed the Terminator namy/franchise/legacy to me. They should have left it at T2, but then they had to go off and make a T3 and a TV show because they are money milking sellouts. T4 better be good.

The origins of t4 come from wanting to milk the terminator universe even more. I'm thinking it will be better than 3, but ultimately will never live up to the original two, even with Christian Bale.

Tropic Thunder 8.3
Very funny movie. IMO the funniest to come out in the past 2-3 years. Its not insanely **** your pants funny, but many scenes are very funny.

Just in comparison I'd give the latest Indian Jones around a 6.5-7.0

T4 is a couple of years after the global nuke attack by skynet, so don't expect any special stuff.

Well terminator 3 somehow felt like it was a parody of terminator franchise... Especially the part where arnold goes to gay bar to get clothes and motorcycle! Also, the sarah connor chronicles will start running here next month, can't wait! From the commercials it looks pretty sweet!

Schumi, I think I read somewhere that the new "good" terminator was gonna be model T-800... Not sure where I heard/read it or even if I remember the number right but its not gonna be T-101 anymore Then again I remember hearing that there would be no "good" terminator this time... Not sure which is correct.
