Are you sure you've watched Batman& Robin? Joel Schumacher (director) had to make a public apology for the movie it was so aweful. There was so much outrage over him taking the movie to the dumps. Too bad you have flash videos blocked. I embedded his public apology in my last post.

I remember going to see the movie back in grade 8 when it was out in theatres and being so pissed I wasted my money seeing the garbage, all the dozen or so friends I went to see the movie with were either fuming about wasting our money or laughing their asses of at its patheticness. The acting from all the actors was utter garbage, Joel tried to make the movie cheesy and campy like the 1960's batman but failed even at that. They declawed the movie and made it suitable for little 9-10 year olds.

There are people in this thread that have NO taste in movies. Batman & Robin is the batman movie that made a franchise reboot necessary. It had strayed so far from the vision of the comic series that it wasn't even batman anymore.

Nolan's Batman is the most loyal to the comic.

I can't even imagine a Robin fitting in the Nolan Batman movies. I love the style, its gritty and realistic. Its a very very believable super hero movie.

Bah...I was thinking of Batman Forever...yeah Batman and Robin was rather fake and did not have the best acting....although Batman and Robin is still better than Batman Begins....no matter how fake it is...remember you use to watch stuff which was even more fake...at least it had all the characters mostly right, aswell as the gadgets...

The only thing that made Batman Forever watchable was Jim Carrey. Other than that it was ridiculous. Neon lights everywhere, completely stupid and cartoony characters.

You do realize that Batman Begins is how it went down in the comic book right? We FINALLY have a batman movie franchise that's remaining loyal to the actual source material.

That was in Batman & Robin as well, but Joel takes it to a whole new level, not only are there buttocks shots for batman and robin but there are also crotch shots.

as you can see here

No he was not the villain...he was a random chinese side character at the start....instead the villain was some random guy who worked for him but would have done a much better job playing him instead of one of his workerbees...

Something is wrong with you if you think Batman forever and Batman and Robin is better than Batman Begins. lol There was nothing good about them. If you were saying that Burton's Batman movies were better than Batman Begins then I would respect you a bit more. The reason why the Batman series needed a reboot was because of the last two movies.

Burton was acceptable, I don't think he hit the mark like Nolan does though.

I am saying that ALL batman movies, as in every single batman movie ever, are better than Batman Begins.

Okay, I get that part...as I said I will give my opinion of Batman Begins a reevaluation after I see The Dark Night...but I was just clarifying that my opinion was not based solely on Batman and Robin or Batman Forever...

You cannot be serious?! I thought he totally sucked at the job. Don't get me wrong I think Clooney is an ok actor but he really did fail big time in that role. Bale is a very good actor. He was particularly dedicated to the role in the Machinist... felt sick just watching him.

I think I still like Keaton in the role the best but Bale does an ok job.

Anyway, it's really all about the baddies in those movies anyway! And the butler of course.

Totally agree with you 100%. I actually was not a fan of Jim Carrey up to that point and then I realised I could actually enjoy his performances. I was glad for this cos I gave the Truman Show a chance and really enjoyed it.

I liked George Clooney as Batman, I thought he did a really quite good job considering the god awfulness of the script.

I do think that Bale makes a good Bruce Wayne but his Batman voice in Batman Begins sounded like he was straining for a big dump every time he opened his mouth.
