Wedding Invite Request!!

Hello all... I've never created a thread before so apologies if I get this all wrong.

Well, it is now official it seems, General Plot and I are engaged!! I know, I was shocked too!! It's a long story but just be reassured that we are both very happy.

I've opened this thread because I know that there are some very talented young men out there on this forum and I would like a kick ass design on the front of my wedding invites so I knew there was only one place to go!

Anyone who would like to help out a girl in need please post any ideas you have or any designs you might like to come up with. I will consider all options.

Of course, any funny suggestions would be welcome too as I do like a good laugh! Just remember to keep it clean as this is not The Bin.

Thank you gentlemen.

this is your first time creating a thread yet you beat me in the Queen of the Bin poll?

anyways, yeah theres some good CG people here, hopefully they can help you out.
Fadingz might be able to whip you up something if he has the time.

maybe you should give them a theme or something to help them with the invitation.

Sorry babe, you've either got it or you haven't and well... I've got two.

Hmmm, a theme... well, I didn't really want to influence anyone but the evening party is going to be 1920s/1930s Hollywood (well there is a Yank involved!) and well, there is a yank / britchie union going on so there's are some ideas to start people off.

Have ref dress up in a pokemon suit for some lulz. Having a degree of humor in the wedding can be extremely helpful in solidifying memories of it in your and others minds.

Being the only wedding with ref (who I'm guessing will be the best man) dressed up in a pokemon suit will definetly make you stand out from all the other weddings and make it all the more memorable. Its something you'll be able to tell your grandkids.

If he refuses, guilt trip him into wearing it.

But the truth is Ref dressing up in one will also be a big bonus for himself as well. All the fine ladies there will see he's the man with the big testes and guts to do something brave like that, and soon they will be lining up to get refs phone number. Its acts of courage like this that real men are made out of, not the effeminate pansy pampered men that make up todays western societies.

Hey guys. I know, long time no word from me. Anyways, just wanted to put in a personal request here for anyone considering doing this. Maybe I'm just old, maybe just dull, or maybe both. But I really like the thought of something sentimental and festive. Also, to let you all know, we have an online wedding photo gallery and guestbook that I'm in the process of preparing (most likely to get done this weekend when I actually have some free time. You can see that here: Mr. And Mrs. Seekings' Gallery and Guestbook. God knows I'm the luckiest man in the world.

And you can make the wedding cake in form of a Pokeball and have ref going out of it in his Pokemon suit

Rae,

give me a few basic elements of the invites,
open paint and just make some square boxes and type what you need and where
(i've never seen a wedding invite before)

then just a describe a colourscheme or basic stylistic description

I'll try and make some invites tonight to wind down after my exams

This is quite real and is honestly happening, I assure you. I went to England for Christmas and met ref's sister, and she came here to the states to see me last month, and we've since decided to marry. Incredible as it may be to believe, emulation has gotten me a soon to be wife.
