.Everything, from the story - to the characters - to the artstyle (that one is pretty obvious) seemed to have been done before by more successful mangas. It doesn't look like the series is "bad" just... That I'll constantly think "well, I could have expected that/already saw that being done". So I'm just wondering, does it get better later on, does it get more original/unique afterward? If it does, I'd give it a try, I just was really nonplussed by the 10 or so first chapters.

Meh, not really. It goes into the sub characters past and how its come to the present to haunt them. Typical shonen action manga

Finally! Inuyasha is done, over, finito, owari!
Can't wait for Rumiko's next work, just hope she doesn't drag it out like she did with Inuyasha...but I guess that's her trademark .

Anyone like Dr. Slump?
I can't find anywhere one can purchase an unedited english version. Its horribly censored and half the jokes are cut out or have been altered.

Dr.Slump rocks. I used to read the scanlations a long time ago, like pre Naruto days. After they were serialized though and I read the first volume...it just turned me right off
Once I get the hang of more kanji though, I'll probably just import the volume books from Japan

Me too.It will pick it up when I have a leisure free time.Too many manga finish right now and I don't have enough free time to read.
Now,when will Love Junkies be finished ??? I see it nearly go to an end.

It seems so... And it kind of got strange in the last chapters. I couldn't keep up with the plot...
Hmm, does that mean sangkakki(animes third season) will be last too??? Maybe that's better to leave in the anime thread Moving there.

I just recently read Koko wa Greenwood. Interesting, bizarre story, but crap afterthought of an ending. Well worth a read anyway.
I'm currently getting through XxxHolic and Tsubasa. Damn Clamp are good. The manga for Card Captor Sakura was pretty damn good too. Oh, and anyone who liked Azumanga Daioh the animation should get the manga and Yotsuba& as well.
