Just finished Kagetora.Light but good story.The extra story was also interesting.Recommend for those who are lazy like me.

Just read Road of Maniac intro:Three sisters, Isuzu, Aoba, and Haruna, inherit an electronics store in Akihabara from their dead father, but their business is not doing well. Creditors have threatened to seize their shop if they cannot pay their bills. They find a heart-broken otaku named Takezou Muto on the doorstep of their shop, and he is able to save the day and the shop with his quick thinking. He is hired on permanently, and Haruna, the motherly sister, asks him to transform their store into a money-making enterprise. Takezou dreams of it becoming an otaku paradise, much to the delight of Aoba and much to the consternation of Isuzu.

Really a paradise like this can not be true ?

Hmmm... well the series still kept beating around the bush for a while.

Seshomaru perfected Tenseiga and used it as an offensive weapon. Inuyasha got some of Tenseiga power, Akago got defeated, a new Naraku spawn (Byakuya) apeared, and a lot of things. To make things short, right now the series is at the climax of the final battle with Naraku

Sorry I'm not sure wheter some of the events I described happened before or after Kikyou's defeat

Indeed, the poor author seems to be cursed. Just when Mx0 was getting more and more interesting (though I didn't like the Black card bussiness though, the protagonist inability to cast anything other than the Mo magic was what made him unique... aw well.

Well, it's just the authors style I suppose. After reading Pretty Face, I was kind of expecting a cut off ending Shame though, it could've gone quite a bit longer.

My rant in the random thoughts thread was about that . I think it's hella stupid, you have mangas who have a slower pace, who's stories have been going in circles for a while, but who are still going strong simply because they are popular, nothing more.

While Mx0 wasn't innovating anything, it was still a funny and charming manga, who managed to still be interesting.
It wasn't Teh Bestest manga EVAR, but it was still a nice one.

Best thing we can hope now is that either the series will start again sooner or later with a new name (that would follow the current story), or that a new series will start with very similar characters (tho it wouldn't exactly be that great...).

since we're talking about the inuyasha manga,

when i was reading it, after Sesshomaru turned his Tenseiga into an offensive weapon, he later found out that the true goal of his father giving him the sword, was for him to perfect it, and then have Inuyasha's sword absorb Sesshomaru's perfected sword... which will give Inuyasha a new techique...

and once Sesshomaru found out about it, he became pissed that his father would favor Inuyasha so much.


but I stopped reading soon after that... its actually pretty interesting, i should start reading it again, but i don't remember what chapter i left off on...

Anyways, started a new manga called Bio-Meat Nectar. Quite interesting. Pretty gory, but the stories interesting. One of those "What if..." types.

Well, found recently this manga called Neon Genesis Evangelion Gakuen Datenroku, I guess its some kind of sequel to NGE or something... The first chapters seemed somewhat good, they seem to have left out the mechas and even the angels are different.

Also been reading 666 satan. Only bad thing is that when the satan comes out it resembles a little too much dragonball and supersayan mode A pretty good manga though... The story just seems to be so famliar, special uber weapons only usable by special people. I don't know why but I think I've seen that before

Dunno if it's the same thing I've read (a LONG time ago, stopped reading it after a while) but I think it takes place in a different universe. Basically, they've been releasing games and mangas that take place in alternate universe, like the example they've shown at the end of the serie, where we see Asuka going to Shinji's house to go to school together (and both his parents are alive, his father reading a journal), where they bump into Rei, who happen to be a new student to their school.

Anyway, those mangas aren't "canon", but they can be entertaining.

It IS very close to DB, mostly because the guy was a "student" (him and his brother, I believe) of Toriyama (creator of DB).

666 Satan has finished (AFAIK) and the guy started a new series, with characters looking very similar, and with the story lacking (so far, but it's still very early) any imagination.
Basically you got people using "stickers" that got magical properties to do various stuff, and some people who are "special" (like the OPT or whatever in 666 Satan) can put the stickers on themselves and uses them with more controls. (so shooting fireballs, instead of putting the sticker on a water carafe to heat it like a normal person would do, or instead of lighting on fire if you used on yourself without being a "user").

His art isn't bad, his imagination is lacking. A lot of what he does is "borrowed", which is a shame.

Doesn't look bad so far, I've also read one doujinshi(well not much of a doujinshi with very few sex scenes...) but with a rather interesting story...

Just finished it... I understand what you mean like most of the "recipes" full released forms and some of the living O-parts looked like they were taken out of NGE... (like the huge ball eating everything arund it And using cabbalah's names like they did in NGE) It really smelled like copy from the start, not that bad though... Wasn't a complete waste of time.

I'd give it 3,8 out of 5
