ACT is most likely action.

AVG usually stand for average, so no clue.

SLG... No clue either.

----

I like action/adventure game, or nice teamplay FPS.

But my favorites are RPG, great open-ended RPG.

RPG for me. Nothing beats a good story and character development when you go through a game.

JRPG followed by RACING (it's not the same as SimCity so I am not putting it under SIMs) with RPG, RTS and SIM (SLG)(I mean stuff like SimCity or the Tycoon games here) close behind. Followed by FPS and platformers and simple puzzle games.

I know the world has moved on but I wish we could still get some cartoony point and click adventures aswell these days.

There has not been a good combat flight sim on the PC since Jane's USAF so I can't really include this category.

RPGs, Puzzle Adventure games (Myst etc), Graphic Adventure games (Longest Journey), Platformers, Action Adventure.

These are pretty much the styles I play the most. Myst is my favourite series of all time and no point and click will ever match it. The Longest Journey series are pretty good too. I don't play much else, it really doesn't interest me, save maybe some fighting games like Melty Blood.

I prefer the games on which everyone dies in the end.
