My PCSX2 is Running! BUT It's Slow!

NB: This is my 1st time joining this forum! HEHEHE!


My PCSX2 is always runnning between around 4.00 fps and around 29.00 fps when I play Disgaea: Hour of Darkness! Why???

I downloaded my PCSX2 from files.filefront.com (ep_pcsx209.zip)

Here are my specs:
Proccessor : Intel(R) Core(TM) Duo CPU T2250 @ 1.73GHz (2 CPUs)
HD Space : 74.5 GB (34.2 GB Free)
RAM : 1024 MB DDR2
VGA Card Name : Mobile Intel(R) 945GM Express Chipset Family also with Intel Graphics Media Accelerator!

But, I have NO Problem with sound!

integrated graphics aren't the best choice for pcsx2.....

also that processor is a bit weak for pcsx2 :\

If this is your first time downloading forums, I suggest the next time you sign up somewhere you read the bloody rules. You won't be welcomed here barging in, proclaiming you cannot get your warez to work, in the wrong section of the forums. Especially not if you can't even be arsed to read up on sticky threads that could as well have answered your question.

Sorry for the rough intro, but those are just the harsh facts when you enter online life, no one is going to be gentle if you don't show the common respect to even read the local rules.

Anyway, still I welcome you to Emuforums, I hope you'll read the rules if you plan to stay. As for your question: Your CPU is probably not fast enough to get the full 60fps needed, but also an onboard videochip will hold back your performance.

I'm not into PS2 emulation, but I know that it's against the rules to discuss Beta versions. But that still isn't "warez".

not because it's beta, but because it's an unofficial build
which was not allowed to be released to that site therefore pirated (i think)

plus a quick google of ep_pcsx209.zip reveals it has an illegal bios

Yeah, you are right, I didn't know that unofficial builds could be "downloaded" only from Ngemu and the official PCSX2 site (and where PCSX2 devs allow it to be).

I was right, but that's probably a coincident. Thanks for pointing out though, I was a bit too soon with my conclusions. The other points still stand though. Oh, and John Aiton, you're some sort of posting illegal links :P
