4K Alignment of my HDD stuffed the FAT32 boot record, nearly lost all my files, if i didn't have PC Inspector File Recovery i probably would have.

There was a problem I had once on my computer. I had malicous problems on the computer with malicous files so we contacted the virus software company who detected it and would you belive that they wanted $100+ to deal with the problem itself. So we had to eliminate the malicous files myself.

When i was a Computer Noob, I had 30gig of spyware on my PC.
Than Explorer.exe disappeared, than every time I logged in , it logged out automaticly. But going on forums for information and a reformat with anti virus + spyware helped alot

Really?

The worst thing that happened to me was something like this: I installed Intel Pentium Northwood 3,4GHz to my computer and after that picture went crazy. I shutted down and after 30 minutes restarted. Now picture was normal and I was able to do everything normally, but when I played Max Payne 2 and Half-Life 2, I noticed that textures looked blurry. I checked options and they were on the highest level. I removed that Pentium and changed back to Celeron. Textures were still blurry. So, that new Pentium processor killed my Radeon 9800 PRO and warranty was over. I learned something and now I have Geforce 7600 GT. Things are now fine.

This is not the worst thing, but once I started my laptop , and saw the settings in
desktop properties , it strangely showed over 2000 pixels ,mine is only 1024x768.
Strange?

Hmm I have had a bunch of problems...pretty much all equally bad...

2 x HDD crash. (One 20GB Seagate and one 250GB Western Digital)

Getting hit by BugBear...twice....(thanks a lot Norton). First time I had my, My Documents folder set to private and locked with a password (to keep my parents out...they comdemn pretty much any game/game demo as evil...)...which caused a huge issues in trying to recoover my files. Actually this was probably the worst thing that I had happen to me.

Then two less severe problems were some crappy graphics card dieing and the PSU dieing.

Wiped out my entire hard drive through an odd ass bug in an early RC of Windows XP. I deleted an account in the Administrator's group through the GUI, it asked if I wanted to delete all of the user's files and I said yes. It proceeded to wipe out everything that had Administrators group ownership.
