I want to know what games to buy.

I just want to know what games are ppls most favorite so I can get it.

Some games on the list I already have but I was thinking the 100mb videos dont actually explain the FUN in the game.

Mgs2...eh....I dont like those kind of games cause its so damn hard. I just bought Capcom vs SNK 2 and it aint that bad...I guess Ill get Metal Gear Solid 2 and Devil May cry...

Gran Turismo 3
I've said some bad things about it, but only when compared to the best games for any system ever. In this bunch, however, GT3 stands out so very much.

you can always play on very easy...

GT3 is good. But I dont like it that much...the game doesnt have that much cars. Only if it had all the cars from gt2...

That would not be possible I guess , considering all the details done on every car . It would take 2 DVD's to do so , but swapping DVD's to drive/buy a car from different manufacturers would be quite annoying

Even though I voted for FFX I am really interested in playing Devil May Cry, ill be sure to buy both when I get my PS2

They divided GT2 pretty nicely into arcade disk and simulation disk.

besides, the fact that they did rally cars and formula racers means they chose those over more street cars. I don't think that was a wise choice. In fact I don't think they should include rally in GT2 either.

Well , the arcade mode takes up pretty little space i think . All the information on cars , tracks , sound etc is shared with the simulation mode i believe so taking out the arcade mode would probably fit in an extra car or two ......

I wish i had enough money 2 buy a PS2...so many great games, but I'm drained from buying this cpu...anyway I would say that my top 5 would be:

1.MGS2, it's the best game that's out...nuff' said (although highly debatable, but I'm just counting the game, not what it did 4 the industry or how great it was 4 its time, just now)

2.FFX, the game needs no introduction...the legacy says it all

3.GTA 3, the games soo innovative and fun

4.GT 3, the best racing sim ever made

5.THPS 3, altough the title is getting kinda old, I'd say this one is by far the best...good grafix, tons of moves, and, altough and old series, still retains quite a bit of addictiveness

Damn. Shoulded looked at the post again. I bought Capcom vs SNK 2 and the game really sucked. Im going to buy Devil may cry now... :P

well i dont have a ps2 yet but i know whats good
Final Fantasy X - final fantasy games are always the best (except for ff8 how did they make it that bad)
Metal Gear Solid 2 - the 1st one was really good so the 2nd one should be better
Grand Theft Auto 3 - the other gta games were good but this one tips the cake

i dont know about you people but gt sucks i never liked the gt games it gets boring FAST as if it was meant to be like that and not just in the cars
