Can you post full system specs? If you only have 256mb of system RAM then I doubt you have a video card with pixel shader 2.0. In which case your out of luck for all releases past the original beta. Not to mention that most games will run like crap anyways.

So your solution is most likely to buy a more current PC.

Unhappy Airforce Delta Save And Load Problems !!!

I know my PC is not a "state of the art" one, and there are faster ones now in the market like Core Duo based, but when I bought it two years ago, Core Duo did not exist. Nevertheless it is very fast, it is an original Intel Pentium 4 with 2.4 GHZ cpu, and a NVidia GForce 5500 FX with 128 MB of video ram and a TV out plug, the only drawback is that the memory of the PC is 256 MB RAM. But I use Windows XP SP2 and DirectX 9.c, the computer has Pixel Shader 2.0 and the NVidia GForce is a powerful graphic card capable of do anisotropic filtering, trilinear filtering and so, I can run the latest PC games at full speed, I can run NULLDC Emu at full speed, etc, only things I cannot run are PS2 emu and a few games on Mame which need a Core Duo CPU.

My posting was about the game AIFORCE DELTA ( US version NTSC ), running on NULLDC b 1.6 which is the only game that has problems while loading saved games, all the others I tested worked OK.
I also played the game in my Dreamcast and I noticed that the game takes about 10 or 20 seconds to load a saved game, donīt know if this has something to do with the problem when ran in the emulator.

The last thing appearing in the error log of NULLDC ( the black window ) is "GDROM: Unhandled Sega SPI frame: SPI_REQ_STAT" the moment the game hangs.

Any ideas are welcome !!

In this very thread you stated that because MS dropped support for PS1.x in the DX release you used PS2.0 is required to use the NullDC PVR (at least untill you released a fix). I thought at the very least PS1.x would be required. Maybe I'm missing something or interpreted you wrong.

Your getting a GD-Rom error plus it takes long for it to load on the real Dreamcast, I can only assume its a bad image file. Ill dump that game now and give it a try and post back

Yup, you interpreted him wrong. When a card does not support SM then nullPVR falls back to fixed function in order to support non SM capable cards.
Since MS dropped support for SM1.x cards on their latest DirectX SDKs SM1.x cards will not work unless nullPVR falls back to fixed function.

In short:
Non SM card: Fall back
SM 1.x card: Fall back
SM 2.0 or newer: Shader based rendering

PS: SM shands for Shader Model

I see. This makes more sense. So does this only impact performance, or does it impact compatibility as well?

The sm code path has a few more features (like decoding Paleted textures on the gpu instead of cpu), but nothing that should affect compat .

Tomoyo No Video Daisakusen.CDI

I just tried booting it using nullDC_100b1_6_mmu.exe

I get DIV32S matched 1% @ 0x8C009ACA
Error in .\dc\mem\sb.cpp:sb_WriteMem:423 -> Write to System Control Regs , not implemented , addr=5f74e4, data=42fe

not implemented opcode : FFFF : Unknown opcode @ ACE000000
Press Any key to continue

I wonder if it is the bios I am using or is it the CDI image I am using. Maby it is nulldc its self in which case I will just wait for another release of this emulator to try and boot this game again.

Yeah that's quite annoying I found a way round it, as soon as it crashes with the white screen just do a reset to the game menu (Hold down A, B, X, Y then start) that should automaticly save and update analyzation, shot down and support item bars.

Hey can anyone tell me how to get more than 2 channel audio when not using the NullAICA plugin's Hardware mixing option? The only way I've been able to have it is to enable that option.

Awesome Emulator drkIIRaziel! keep up the good work!

5.1 systems should expand the audio as needed (it works here).

anyone have any idea why I cannot use NullPVR ???

Hey I've got the same problem but its the other way around. The nullPVR plugin works fine but the Chankast video July 23 2007 plugin just shows a black screen. Please forgive me if someone has commented this problem. its probably because of this crappy laptop I just bought but it playes a lot of games with almost perfect framerates. Angain forgive me I'm still reading all the posts for an answer and thanks for devoting time to nullDC.
