I'm buying a video card strictly for nullDC and MAME use, and am choosing between the 7300GT and 7600GT.
Will the 7600GT provide significant (read: >5%) performance benefits, or is nullPVR simply dependent on you having the right shader model? |

afaik NullDC isnt GPU dependant at all, tho i imagine there is "some" dependancy.
but for your benifit of that minor depenancy and other games, id get the 7600GT as the 7300 sux

I'd agree with Refraction, most video card beyond the 5200FX would do well in nullDC (Just get anything EXCEPT the 5200FX.)
As for 7300GT vs the 7600GT, there are 7300GT with gDDR3 memory, however, their price points are too similar right now so I would suggest the 7600GT better than the 7300GT.
