Nulldc video pluggin not working

Hi,

Even from a fresh install, I cannot get nulldc to load a game or the dash with the nulldc video pluggin selected. I've tried various combinations using cdi images, deamon tools different sound pluggins, but whatever I do nulldc locks up and gives an error about 1 second after pressing start (under file). The chankast video pluggin works. I assume everone doesn't have this problem as I don't see it mentioned anywhere..

I wana bet .. your card doesnt have vertex/pixel shaders .. does it ?

Ahh, you were right.. I didn't even know about this.

My card is a GeForce4 MX 420.

I know this will be a hard question to answer, but could someone tell me how many more fps I could get with a newer card?

Since my card doesn't have these pixel shaders, I have to use the Chankast pluggin and with that at get as low as say 62% speed on DC games.

I have a P4 2.80 with 512 MB of RAM.

Anyone have similar specs and a card capable of using the null video pluggin?
