Great emulator - is analogue support on the roadmap?

Wow..

I was really into emulation 10 years ago as the older systems started to come to life.. it seemed to slowly die a death after 2000 as most things worked, and there was little left to emulate...

Fast forward to now, and quite suprisingly i've found a whole world of emulator out there that make sense out of why i kept my old games on the shelves (unplayed for years due to arkwardness of finding space, and connections for all the old machines).

I take it this DC emu is relatively new, dated from April.. I just cannot believe how good it is already.. not perfect in some gfx, or sfx but still very close.. performance seems fine, and next to the strictness of SSF in its resolutions i've been quite blown away by what it can do with high resolutions.. Seeing Ikaruga running at 1080p on my projector has some moments where its the best thing i've seen on it.

Anyways, to actually ask.. I'm playing via XPadder, and a 360 wireless joypad. its all working great for these shooters but anything thats analogue, like Daytona, Rez, or F355 etc is nearly unplayable without replicating the analogue sticks (and triggers) of the original DC pad. Is this something that is planned to being added to the emulator, and is it something that would come sooner rather than later, in the scheme of emulator releases?

Beyond all that its fine to work around it for now and just bask in the glow of a great pile of games, or perhaps it should be mourn the passing of such a capable machine (and a hardware company at the same time).

Cheers
