Why don't you try using a gamepad then COOLAID, like a 360 controller with Xpadder. It'll probably work fine then. Geez....

Coolaid pretty much every question you have asked could have been answered by searching through the forums. Pretty much everything to make nullDc work properly is in this forum.

yes i know about xpadder, but that's not what i had in mind, i was asking weather there's some kind of fix that emulates a real analog stick ON a keyboard.

eg: joystick plugin

That is not even possible coolaid. There's no degrees to keyboard presses and even if there were, how about you spend 20$ for a gamepad instead of making the NullDC team waste hours making this for you. C' mon Coolaid.

ok ok i was just asking i'm not demanding or anything.

there's no xbox controller here for sale in my country, i do have a few psone controllers and a analog pad (i think), the only xbox controllers we have here are third party ones, i also asked about the controller2usb plug and it seems that's all sold out as well, so now what? what should i do?

I'm not sure what Hong Kong has in the way of game stores, but I would highly recommend a Madcatz 360 controller if you only have third party stuff to chose from. I've tried various pc controllers for many years and all of them are crap and none of them come close to matching the build quality or longevity of a console controller (even third party). Madcatz is one of the best now and even their new 360 pro controller has received almost equal reviews with that of the Microsofts 360 controller, which is widely regarded as one of the best gamepads ever designed. The controller is about 20-25$. Think about what you could do with a terrific controller on the PC....namely play Dreamcast properly which you seem eager to do.

Sorry, it looks to be that way. But hey, you gonna need that controller anyway for when it does.

Besides, what fun is it to play emulators on a pc with a keyboard. You'd be much better off sitting a bit back with a gamepad in your hands. One of the Dual Shock / 360 design works best because of the amount of buttons.

I guess we're in the minority, but some of us grew up playing games with keyboard. I've finished Sonic Adventure on pc with keyboard, and much faster than I ever could with the DC pad at the time.
It wasn't until that extensive TXR session last year that I finally got my gamepad skills up to the level of my keyboard ones

When did you grow up? I don't think I've ever owned a computer that didn't have some kind of joystick option. My Commodore Vic20 in 1983 had a joystick, which I was already skilled with having used one on my Atari 2600 in 1978.
