nullDC & GameEx
I have bin trying to import nullDC into GameEx but i have some problems.
When i start GameEx whit the dreamcast it starts the program but it wont start the game. GameEx normaly try to start an image whit the emulator and searches for a full screen game. Is there any way to let nullDC run when the program starts? PS: Thanks for making this program after testing a view emulators i think this is the best one. hmmm cocnut u don´t read what Nologic wrote: Try this one: GameEx Support Beta 2
and yeah i know it works coconut (thx Nologic for the link ) because i had the same problem as u, i don´t know why but 1 of the loaders there are out there don´t work in mamewah(and thats the one u use now ^^ it does that u are saying) So get that one from the link above, click it, u will in short time download this file nullDC_Support.zip and when u unpack it there is a loader use this insteedsomething like this look my line in mamewah c:\nullDC\nullDC_Loader.exe "[rompath]\[name].[romext]" Kill_Child.exe{nodosbox}{safelaunch} the Kill_child is a process killer works great with mamewah frontend so u can scroll u games after u quit now i have helped u i have a little problem myself sometimes my games flickers freezes in sound and crashes have to restart the mame machine think its something to do that i have a org arcade monitor in my mame machine and the Hz can´t follow or something (mame machine: 3ghz P4 2gb ram , hacked SB live card and the Ultimarc 9200 card)if someone knows what i´m talking about and can help i would be pleased, the games who flickers and crashes its not the games because works great on my other pc

Thank you guys,
I'm using Nologic modified loader, so kids can launch DC games from shorcuts. How do I activate "LaunchBefore & LaunchAfter" ?? I've them like that, but nothing happens:- Code:
LaunchBefore=D:\Games\Xpadder\Xpadder.exe "[ROMPATH]\_Player 1" "[ROMPATH]\_Player 2" "[ROMPATH]\_Player 3" "[ROMPATH]\_Player 4" /M LaunchAfter=D:\Games\Xpadder\Xpadder.exe /C |

Post over at the GameEx forum, and I'll try to answer you there...my support for nullDC is reaching its end of life.

@ PsyMan
The short answer is that I've been ran over and screwed over enough in the nullDC community, to the point that I see little reason to continue supporting it. @ KOC2000 Okay first of all you've stated that you have modified the source code...there for I have no clue what maybe wrong with the loader in its current state. You should have been able to use shorcuts with the original loader. Secondly launch before\after are features of GameEx...not nullDC...so this is some thing you would need to code into the loader...if you want these features.

I can't say that most people related to emulation are in a different position than you.
There were countless times where I tried to help people and got disrespect, insults and bashing as a reward. The same goes for emu authors, beta testers and even users that just try to offer support. There is always a bunch of people that will act like they owe the world (with you included). This is no reason to abandon a project cause of them though.
