"evolution the world of sacred device" does not work beyond dungeon 2, it freezes immediatly during the linear flower scene.



i've made BOTH a backup raw and dci file of the save using vmubrowser, and attached to this thread.


i've manage to bring the save files over to nulldc, but nulldc can't ultilize utopia boot disc properly so it can't even boot the game.

since nulldc can't load utopia boot disc i wasn't able to run the game, i've been trying to to make a bootable image using exoboot but the stupid thing just kept asking me if i want to create a bin file at the end, when i answer yes, it asked to name the file, which i have no idea what on earth it's talking about, i give it a name and the whole thing just disappears, what on earth?! who made exoboot to be this user unfriendly!!!???



what should i do now? please help

Just have to wait till the next release more than likely, Or try to find a save past that point and see what happens, Or Buy a DC for 20 bucks well worth it.

i thought exoboot would do the trick.


i had a dreamcast back in canada, when i moved to a different country i tried to use a power transformer to power my dc, then before you know it white smoke came WOOSHING out of the vent shafts at the side of the console, the console still works but it freezes after 5 mins and soon the sounds began to turn muffled, it broke soon afterwards.


please tell me where i can buy a new dreamcast that can shipped to my country (hong kong) i mean new dreamcast, refubs are ok too but they have to be from saga not some e-bay second handed rusty, please help and many thanks.

On one forum I visit you can rate user's posts. If it gets rated down below a certain threshold it disappears.

I really wish this forum had that capability.

jumping into conclusion without proper reading of my post, if i can be accuse of being warez kid, then so can all of you. i assume you all got the wrong idea when you read the e-bay post above, but clearly he was telling me where to get a new dreamcast, not a game.

your reluctance to believe my dreamcast frying up in a foreign country dispite my best efforts to run it with a power transformer is most amusing, i can problely guess those who have already spoken have never step foot on foreign soil, because if you did, then you'll know exactly what i'm talking about, and you'll know that i'm not lying about such incident just to save faces and retain my innocence in the midst of suspicious claims that i pirate warez; which you accuse me of without proof and coming into conclusion by what appears to me by a general assumption, that those who talk like a child as such is one who pirate roms and are too dumb enough to figure things out for himself, and the "bin" which he mention must be warez.

1: exoboot does not function correctly if it is install in a foreign language due to it's inability to reconize names of locations such as "desktop" due to the fact that foreign language windows displaying the word 'desktop' in it's own native unicode language causing exoboot to have trouble locating itself. the author apprently is not even aware of such problems, and i'm sure this question will be raise in a very near future, so consider this a fix if you will, opps, i just contribute something to the community. j/k @_@

2:my dreamcast is currently not in my possesions, as i've stated earlier, it overheated due to power transformer issue, on my last trip to canada FROM HONG-KONG i gave it to a good friend of mine for safekeeping as well as giving him the task of finding saga for repairs , due to time constrint issues i must take leave back to hk before he was able to even shipped out the console for repairs. the console was repaired although it would cost me and HIM a fortune to have it mail back to hk along with my hugh library of legally purchased games, (again those who travells alot will know what i'm talking about) due to this i decided not to shipped my console and decided to do the good deed of giving it away.


recently with the emergance of the new tremcast here in my country, i was once again thrust into a craze and uncontrollable love for the dreamcast once again, after failing to purchased the console due to saga's successful efforts in shutting the entire production line-up down, i was in thrown into an endless pit of dispair until i stumble upon chankest and nulldc, upon which i was overjoyed, and immediatly request my fellow canadian buddy to send a few copies of his game to hk, which he refuses stating that i had given him and it is no longer mine, although he is willing to rip the game for me and send it to me via web, since i had no idea what type of disc format chankest supports i merely had him send me a bin insted, which he did.


due to coincidence such as poor programming in exoboot and various complications i eventually find myself making servreal threads due to having noone answering my post dispite days of waiting, and from which *beings* such as YOU spawn and accuse me of trouble and crown me with the holy title of "warez kid"


open your eyes, the world is not as small as you think. sometimes people don't say it, but that doesn't mean you should make foul accustions of such individual (acts such as these clearly demonstrated in western culture in which asians are discriminate without a single thought).

Exoboot works fine for me, I have never had a problem with it. The first thing finding the 1st_read.bin and IP.bin files on the already Non-bootable disk. And running them through Binhack seems to be your biggest problem IMO.
