Speed issues? Which games have speed issues? Damn this emulator is nearly perfect, though veeeery slightly dodgy sound (could just be Vista, yes I've done the fix), no proper control pad plugin for the likes of my 360 controller and of course the lack of text in SA2 and other games. And very slight graphical glitches that don't matter.

OK so that's a few things but nothing major, you guys did such a great job and its awesome to know that you are still doing such a great job.

I'm glad you give progress reports, you know the NGC Gekko emu requires you to PAY to get half of just thier updates, I mean there's no proof their emulator even exists yet, just a few screens.

>> nullPVR does not require Pixel Shaders to work anymore (But cards without Pixel Shader support will have GFX problems).

I dislike that part. It'll cause a lot of confusion and badmouthing.

Is Ikaruga affected by any of the changes?

It's the truth however. nullPVR just crashes the emulator on the BETA if Pixel Shader support is missing. It now works; not as intended to work, but at least it works.

Edit: I moved the comments on a dedicated thread to keep the actual thread closed and clean from vandals (some sort of vandal will appear sooner or later).

Quick Question

Thanks for the update on new features and bug fixes! I just have one question though, is a controller plug in currently in the works and is it planned for the next version? The only thing that stops me from hardcore testing this emulator is lack of proper control configurations.

Perhaps a "This plugin will not work without pixel shaders" warning message would be a better choice. So you don't get people talking bad about the emulator cause it looks crap due to all the missing gfx on their Geforce 4 MX.

Well... There are cases that pixel shaders are not required. Even if only 1 of 10 games has correct gfx with a Geforce 4 MX why not let the user enjoy at least that single game?

The problem is that some cards seem to have problems with textures ...A GF4MX should work.A tester had problems with an intel extreme gfx 'card' on a laptop.

are you guys still working on making the emu faster? or is it just bug fixes right now? the only game i play on it, is marvel vs capcom 2, the game runs fine until alot of action happens on the screen, then it slows down horribly, also I hope you guys worked on the various sound issues as well, thanks for your great work!

btw, my system info:
Athlon 64 3000+
768 MB DDR
Nvidia Geforce 6600 GT
Windows XP

I think you may need to research some grammar there.

Naomi and Atomiswave emulation has been hinted, and the team put up a request topic to anyone who can supply the hardware.
