Additional GPU support
Is there any chance of other GPU's being supported besides the Radeon and GeForce series? The reason I ask is cause I'm running a 2,0 GHz (Core Duo T2500) processor on my macbook which only has Intel GMA950 card.
Now this is likely a bottleneck but maybe this could be compensated by cpu power? Either way the default video plugin causes nulldc to crash now whereas using the chankast plugin does run the game but the textures look all messed up. Other then that the reported speed seems fine but then again I suppose that doesn't say much. Either way it'd be nice to see actual graphics on screen. It would be awesome if this could be supported in some way, there are quite some laptops which have sufficient CPU power but a low end video card. Maybe there are already some plugins for this? If not what are the chances of anyone willing to give this a shot? |

Its my understanding there is no direct nVidia or ATI\AMD support...its more a matter of whether or not a given video card supports the functions required by the emulator.
I think I read some where that the nullDC team was going to try and lessen the function dependency's that are required...this may or may not help in your case depending largely on what is and isn't supported by your given video card. |
