Skies of arcadia - Problems with save?

I was playing my copy of skies of arcadia, up untill the save point (That I was able to save at fine) in front of the last water switch near the start of the game. I hit the last switch, the movie played and the boss swiftly kicked the crap out of me.

Now heres the problem; When I reload the game, the first battle I enter I "auto loose" and by that I mean, from the screen of into battle, the next screen is instantly "omgzorz you've been pwnt" or whatever way this game desided to put it. It dose however load everything up like it would normaly, just with this glitch that keeps ownting me xD

This known?

Side note:

I've allso had issues saveing soul reaver at all, it dosent detect the mem card at all. However, when I tryed gundam side story it saved/reloaded fine.

I'm not sure, but did you have any problems getting past the initial loading screen?

No, all was fine.

Played the game up untill that part, meaning I got the starting movie+played game past all the pirate hideout and off to the other place to find the fallen moonpart, did the puzzle of draining the thing and at the end saved.

The boss then proceeded to swiftly kick the crap out of my ill prepared crew xD

After reload, I can run around and the game is fine as one would expect, up untill I enter a battle. First time I just hit the switch and got a auto loss on the boss, 2nd time I got a random battle with it. It happens every time I reload.

that's skies of arcadia, not grandia 2. it happened to me too, but it stopped after exiting the emulator (or did you save after dying against the boss already? that MIGHT be a problem.). odd bug.

Sitting around playing games stoned is my kinda vacation

I saved BEFORE going up agenst the boss, then it happend once I reloaded. I'm gona start a new game and make sure I'm ready for that guy and try agian.. maybe its just that area? =\

When did that happen to you? Same area or somewhere else?

same area. saved there. lost. bug happened. exited the emulator, loaded, all was okay.

can i save game whenever i want with this emulator, or only when game let me?

Yeah this worked for me to.. however I wokeup this morning (after playing it late last night) to find that it dosent work now? =\

I get past the dc loadup and the trainer thats at the start of it, but then when it goes to load the game up it just sits at half fps with a black screen.

I've tryed restarting (multy times) diff drivers and combos of everything I could do, nothing even effects it, pushing anything has no effect looks like its not loading or something. I even reinstailed it (after backing up main files)

Anyone know whats going on?

Copy your bios over again, if it's asking you for the time and date and then booting to a black screen it's a corrupted bios. At least that fixed it for me.
