My oppinion

This emulator is awesome.

I have tried it with Skies of Arcadia and PSO V2 PAL. Works perfect, always 30 FPS, totally playable.

The only problems I have seen (very small problems), are, in first place, some color key bugs, and a bit of audio cropping (maybe because of using integrated audio? lol).

But, those problems are worthless seeing how does a DC emulator run on a Radeon 9200, Pentium 4 3.06 GHZ at full speed withouth many graphic glitches

PCSX2 team, learn of nullDC!

Saludos.

skies of arcadia, or at least the echelon rip thereof, doesn't seem to work correctly, ie - it works, but it crashes randomly when exiting menus (very randomly, rarely)

I know the PS2 is a lot complicated, but, the nullDC core is ****ing well coded, if not, compare Chankast with nullDC.

Chankast is a very good emulator, it's just discontinued work. Please don't rip on anyone else's projects here. As far as comparing to PS2, you certainly can, but the places you'll find the difference is not overall processing capabilities. Certain aspects of PS2 emulation require very accurate emulation of timing, which is always a pain in the ass, and can be very slow.

Donīt blame.
Instead, make your own PS2 emulator.

Wow you have no idea. The nullDC team have done an amazing job, but as ZeZu mentioned amongst other things, you cant compare the 2 console emulators, not even slightly, i doubt even using every trick in the book NDC uses would make much difference to PCSX2

Fair enough you want it to run on Xbox. But you can buy an actual dreamcast for far less than an Xbox still. PLUS!

Dude, who cares if it runs on a Pentium 3? Saying something runs on a pentium 3 in 2007, you might as well say runs on anything anyone owns.

God, upgrade, its a pittance these days even for a total computer and a large LCD screen. Sick of posts saying, OMG doesn't run on my Pentium 2, with Voodoo 2!?!!?

Guys, just get a minor part-time/casual job, and buy a bargain basement computer for under $800, and you'll even be able to play modern PC games too. (Please don't take offense if you have a secondary computer to play DC and it doesn't run, AS LONG AS YOU HAVEN'T COMPLAINED).

God damn.

Think of it as a reason to upgrade. I mean I wouldn't upgrade to new hardware if it wasn't for kickaz emuz like pcsx2 and nulldc/chankast
