ikaruga problem

hi, great emulator folks! but I noticed that it has the same problem of chankast in missing bullet of ikaruga's level2, theres a fix?

an other thing, what are the best plugins? nulls or chankasts?

what it means the hle boot? it seems a bit slow than normal boot, is it so? thz
