Booting from CD Drive?

Hello, I'm having a problem with booting my Shenmue disks from my CD/DVD Drive on the NullDC emulator. I select the SCSI (typo?) plugin from the plugins windows, and select the Drive with my Shenmue disk in.

On the 'Normal Boot', it treats the disk like an audio CD in the Dreamcast GUI- with the 'This is a Dreamcast disk' audio message.

So I tried the "Hle GDROM Boot" option. It seems to load something, and the 'dos' window showing the reading of various files....However, it cannot seem to find a certain '1st_Boot.bin' file, so tries another 'method'...

Anyway it gets to this point, then it seems to be frozen:

Can anyone help?!

My system specs:

NVidia Geforce 7300 LE (512mb)
AMD 64 3200+
1Gb Memory

Any other relevant specs required?

Thanks!

Seems like your discs are not bootable, or you're simply using original GD-ROM discs...

ROFL, yeah, GD-ROMs are not readable on regular CD-ROM drives.

Maybe in the next release the author should consider making the readme.txt show up automatically on every run. In 72 point font. Bold. And the user should be required to re-type it word for word to verify they read it at all.

It's common knowledge. It's like trying to play a DVD in a CD player.
