Dead or Alive 2 LE problems

I know I'm troublesome guy, but can't get this game to work with nullDC 1.0.0b1. When I try to run it, game goes through all the screens (Tecmo, Team NINJA) and comes to this:

To clarify things - I tried Demul and it worked just fine (but very slow). Do you know what may be the cause of this? I tried to run through normal/HLE boot.

It wants you to hit Start so it can create the save file.

Hey S.SubZero - you're right. I wouldn't have figured it out (since I turned off memcard). Thank you for your help.
