Something that I should state from what I've seen is that using analog thumbsticks (like my Playstation to USB adapter) with Joy2Key is a crapshoot. Also, some games that overtly rely on analog thumbsticks will be very difficult controlwise or outright unplayable such as the manual graffiti portions of Jet Set Radio.
As this is a public beta, I expect that there will be a plugin released in the future to fix this issue. For the most part though, I am very impressed with this emulator. |

I have installed the emu successfully, although I have reached the max limit of my RapidShare account for now....and the 'free' link just asks me to wait for 2 minutes X infinity.....is it possible to upload here?
Edit: I was successful in downloading them. Cheers! ![]() r2rX

I tried that already and all keyboard mapping programs are a crapshoot as a whole. Jet Set Radio is what I have been using to determine this and the rule is if I can't do manual graffiti then the program is no good.
Hopefully controller plugins will come out soon to fix this problem cause it's the only thing that is keeping me from abandoning Chankast alltogether. Last edited by AmpDivorax; April 3rd, 2007 at 05:30. |

I haven't been able to do the manual graffiti in JSR at all, even with the keyboard... is it just me?
EDIT: So I've tried both programs, countless different set ups and I've determined that the biggest flaw of this beta (IMHO) is the control... the games I've tried all look and run fantastic, but its impossible to play them. Im still floored though, cant wait to see what future releases bring Last edited by DeadOhioSky; April 3rd, 2007 at 23:17. |

I too can't do the analog spray paint in Jet Grind Radio. I'll just wait for full analog support on game pads before trying to play games that are dependent on the full analog scale.

Here's a slightly modified JoyToKey profile from the OP 'first configuration' preset
for the Thrustmaster Dual Analog ![]() RogePost File Hosting Service : Azerty Config.cfg Put the file in the same directory as your JoyToKey.exe and you're set. Great emu btw, amazing work for a first beta ! I have a AZERTY keyboard so, if you are QWERTY, you only have to change the mapping of Button 4 from W to Z.
