Marvel vs Capcom 2

Computer specs:
P4 3.2 OC
6800GT
1.5gig RAM

nullDC configuration:
Default nullDC configuration

Status: Playable

Notes: Minor transparency problem with special effects but what I hate is the lag of the sound effects. When you first load the game and play a few rounds, the sound syncs but later on it starts to lag. Changing the buffersize doesn't work either. Anyone else having the same issue?

The Dreamcast has a 'cleaner' resolution compared the PS2, especially noticeable when using the VGA cable. That's at least the major technical advantage AFAIK.

That issue was addressed here. We'll have to wait for a future build of the plugin or use Chankast's.

The Sound is great. But it has some gfx glitches and there is nearly no text visible, which makes it unplayable.

All you have to do i think is in nulldc with the chankast plugin you set either z test right thingy or alpha it makes the writing clear in chankast it may work

CAN PEOPLE PLEASE STOP USING Imageshack AND USE THE ATTACH FEATURE!

its irritating the shots dont load half the time, if the shots are PNG or too big, load up Photoshop or Paint and shrink them!

Same compatability as the Echelon version, but I finally made a full 1GB NTSC image of the game to test and it has the same graphical glitches. In the screenshots you can see where you can't read menu items. Also I went into the menu and back into the game and ended up getting a black screen while the music still played. Only differences I guess between PAL/NTSC for this game is VGA mode.

NB - No CDDA support (despite presence of redbook tracks), muffled audio and lighting/transparency issues. Is there no support for CDDA yet?

Aside the fact the game is just completely weird everything works fine and it is playable. The sound is a little bad however I think it's from my image, it was just 60MB. Great work nullDC team.
