Sound problems with Shenmue
Hi everyone. I have searched high and low for a solution to my problem but haven't had any luck. If I run Shenmue on beta 1.6 the game runs fine and the sound is fine, but there's the well-known transparency issue to deal with. On 1.0.3 the graphics are much improved and the game runs even more smoothly, but all the voices in the game sound really tinny, as if you're listening to them through a terrible set of speakers. There is no popping, clicking or lagging. The quality of the voices is just really poor, and it doesn't occur in the beta version. I'm running Windows Vista and have already set the buffer to 2046. This is a seperate issue. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance! |
