Help I cant save my games

Guys could you help I cant save my games. When the game saving screen appears it saves like normal, but when I open the emulator and load the save I find it hasn't saved.

I'm running NullDc 1.0.3 on ubuntu 9.0.4 under wine.

Computer specs
Cpu: AMD Athlon X2 Dual-Core processor
Graphics: Nvidia GeForce 8200 512Mb
Ram: 1.8 Gigabytes

Start Nulldc without a disc and go to the file option, format your memory cards.Also check the memory card files are not set to read only for some reason.
