What are the settings for this? I'm getting the feeling that I could optimize my configuration better based on what I see here.

How would one go about hosting a server for Vigilante 8 over the net with the hookjoy server tool?

Hi guy, I'm having problems trying to decrypt my Naomi GD-roms with the gdrom2rom.exe file that comes with the nullDC naomi version pack.. everytime I open it, it just disappears. I know it's a newbie question, but how do I get that to work?? Thanks so much.

It's a console application. You run it from the command prompt.

WOW! This actually works!! Great find!!

This ALSO made "18 Wheeler Trucker" bootable again!! And probably other games that have this opcode error will behave the same way.

Raz, please make note of this. You can have easily a bunch more games compatable by finding a way to dismiss these errors that occur at launch. Let me know what you think.

Go here: The Guru's ROM Dump News - Naomi Dump Status
and if the game has a key, it will be the long string at the bottom right of a green entry, such as "2F3226165B9E407C" for CvS2.

I've been testing out nullDC v1.0.3 Naomi Version since last night.

Street Fighter Zero 3 Upper seems to have an issue with coin inputs, so you can't play the game, but it's emulatable.

Mobile Suit Gundam: Federation VS Zeon DX gives me a "Caution 51: Game assignments are incorrect. Set correctly in system assignments of test mode." from the Naomi Bios. I tried going into the test menu (F2, F3, F4, F5) and messed around with the system assignments, but nothing would work.

Anyway, I took many screenshots of the games I tested as well.

Take a look:

Sure thing, glad I could be of some help!I tried it with 4x4 Evolution, but it was to no avail. It was my very first Dc game purchase too, I have fond memories of that excelent game.

Let us all know if it works on other games and I might actualy try those out also.

4x4 evolution as you may or may not know was one of darned WinCe games. I don't think your trick will work with these games - they need more coding I'm sure to boot properly.

However, if you want, Makaron can boot most of these and run them descently. I just wish that emu authors would share more. Image how great it would be if Raz had access to all the stuff that Deunan knows or vice versa. It would provide the community one hell of an emu and seem to get stuff done alot faster.

Its dumped but that doesnt matter yet until the protection on naomi pcbs is broken. May take a little while. Until then...patience.

Question.... do you think it'll be possible to implement Kaillera on the NAOMI version (a future version)?

I'm wondering the same thing. The readme file say

"DSP Emulation" enables DSP emulation. Recommended setting: Disabled! DSP emulation is not done yet and will result in various problems. It might "work" for some games however.

Any more information? What games is it for and so on?

A lot of stuff use DSP. It enables various sound effects and generally makes audio richer. It is not done however and this leads to broken audio on some cases. It slows things down too.
