If your processor is already struggling then ANY zooming will slow down the game even more, especially if you apply the special filters.

No, I can use the others, just My zoom seems to make it lag at random intervals. Remember the lag isn't constant. Too bad, I loved this thing.

It's still related to processor load then though, either something resource intensive is starting up or is spiking at that moment, or your system is throttling itself to either try and remain within safe temperatures or to save power. If you're using any of the filters then those are most likely to have the largest impact on performance.

Don't use any soft filter and use D3D/OpenGL Render API.
If your CPU have not HT(Hyper Thread) or multi-core, you must use myZoom at your own risk.

Bug encountered:

Before it happened, myZoom can't show the game of No$gba clearly; it was all black, with white rectangles. When exiting, this pop-up appears, and can't seem to clear it out of the way. Can you fix this?

The version of myZoom is 1.8.36.

Have you been messing with the myzoom files? Say, the language files? Or overwriting older versions or something?
Try making a cleanfolder with nocash and myzoom
[Edit]
If that doesn't work, check the stickies for a replacement.

I agree with dateryu.
Also, maybe no$gba has crashed last time, you need close the process of no$gba.exe by task manager.
