No he does not, ignore his nonsense.
I however unfortunately have no idea what the problem might be though. Try looking at the conf file though and changing any directorties that may appear to the correct ones.

That's easy.
Just delete skin.conf, run myZoom.exe again.

The problem is not on my end, there's no way a program will require specific type HDD to able to work. And about FAT32 or NTFS...since this program is working on my C partition which is NTFS too like my D partition there's no way that could be the problem. Are you even know what are you saying?
Your C and D is NTFS all, and this problem happened on D only.
That is strange.
I know this problem will happened when NTFS use compress volume or folder.

It looks like this(I can't change the language if the program is in drive D)and if I try exit the program or the emu the emu or the program will freeze.I also tried to delete every configuration file and leave only the English folder(and edit the language.conf)and try to run the app from drive C and everything was ok + the language was immediately English but if I just move the program folder to drive D when I run the app the language is CHS even that the folder with that language is missing

No you missunderstood me, I meant try changing the directories in the set.conf file to what they should be using wordpad. I mean the physical set.conf file located in the same directory as myZoom, not a menu option or anything like that.

That was the first thing I've tried after I first encounter the problem...I start looking at every config file for some clues why it's not working but without luck. And about deleting,I say it because even if I delete every config file(except language.conf)and run the app from partition C the app is working correctly but not on partition D.

PS.The previous version that I use was V1.8.27 and that version is working on any partition

Ok, in that case it must be a version specific problem, I to have not used the latest version yet, I am still using 1.8.30

You should have mentioned sooner that 1.8.27 worked fine by the way, by not doing so you made it look as if you have a problem with the app in general (which is far harder to locate and find a solution for), not just one version.

Well I've said it on my first post about the problem

Oops, sorry missed that part, just came back from a long weekend.
(to be fair though saying there is a problem with the newest version does not specifically mean you tried an older version without problems first though :P )

Well if it way the program in general I wouldn't say "There is a bug with the newest version" but "There is a bug with this program"

Anyway hope it can be fixed

Someone well versed in the english language would not that's true, but those that aren't very often say that

OK, if you only need english menu, just delete 中文chs and 中文cht folder, don't edit language.conf or delete it.
Or, download this attachment.

That's the second thing I've tried after I encounter the problem. On partition D any settings I made on that file are ignored.I can delete all the languages folders, leave the language.conf file empty and the program will still "work" but if I delete the file a error appear

"Access violation at address 004F06DD in module "myZoom.exe".Read address 00000000."

It can't work without that file but any settings I made on it are ignored.

And here's some clues. If I delete the languages folders(中文chs,中文cht and english)the program start acting the same way on both partition, meaning on partition D the languages folders are ignored or the app don't see them.

PS.I use emu's more that 5 years till now and I'm that of a noob to ask about problems without checking everything that's possible except editing the app.

I have the exact same problem as CheatMaster except the emulator and myZoom don't always freeze when I try to exit (sometimes they exit fine). I haven't tried older versions. I have one physical drive with two NTFS partitions, neither are compressed or using compressed folders. If I copy the same install to both, I can only set the language in the copy on C.

If I use the language.conf testerhook posted, it doesn't help with the D copy. I see that it says "english" but if I run my copy on D with it, the menus are still in Chinese and after closing it, the file is overwritten.

Edit: I'm running WinXP SP2. Dunno what else might be relevant.

Also, there's kind of a bug with hiding the emulator window. I'm guessing when you tell it to hide, myZoom just tries to move the emulator window off the left side of your screen. But I have two monitors and my secondary monitor is on the left side, so all it ends up doing is moving the emulator to the top right corner of my second monitor, heh.

Could you add support gba roms in myZoom? Because no$gba is nds,gba emulator and myZoom can be use more filter but only no$gba can't. I really like them.

I found something stupid in myZoom. When i open compress file with myZoom, if it had dot in name. Battery file will be wrong name. See detail below.

That is actually due to no$gba and not myZoom.

No$gba can't handle special characters (like a second dot in the name), you will have to rename it. Usually a dot comes just before the extension, so that's why no$gba does that.
