I am constantly saving the game internally and its all good when i exit myzoom properly. one day, myzoom froze and i ended the process, after i open it again, ALL my process that i played w/ myzoom that session (which was like 5 hours) was gone, even tho i saved. I tried to reenact the situation and same thing happened
does anyone else have this problem?

It's the emu. Not myZoom.

A save is only written to the harddrive either when you exit the emu (or in this case myZoom) or load another game/reload the same game. If the emu crashes before then...all save progress of that session is lost.

I would love to know how people keep on expecting help without providing important details like the name of the game they were playing...that answer I have given is however the only answer and the correct one.

Well it might be game specific...you never know...certain games seem to work and then crash at a later stage.

Either way when asking for help it's always best to provide as many details as one can

Is this new version the full package again?

Or do we still need to get and extract 1.8.24 first and then overwrite the files?

Hmm i was searching for this topic why not sticky it? So people wont need to make spam threads on how to get it. Same goes for nds2xgl would be alot better. And I wanted to say thanks for the release. Great work to the owners!

Well it is mentioned in my FAQ under a questions on how to increase the screen size..so whilst it's not stickied it is easily found without searching.

Very good addon for no$gba but it would be much better if it has save/load state option (if it's possible) and its very bad that author of no$gba wrote so many versions of that emu and didn't place that very important and usefull function and much worse is that it looks like there wont be another version of that very good & fast emu, only that very slow "ideas" has that function

Exactly. I asked him to remove the option from this tool for just that reason. No$gba can only make snapshots of GBA games so if it was included in this tool then every idiot would try to make a save state eventhough they don't work.

Save States are a bonus...they are far from important or crucial....can you save state your DS?
As such it would only be added once the emulation itself has reached a certain level where enough games actually run that could make use of such a feature...hence why it's not been done yet...
Also let's not forget it's not a simple matter of just creating this feature...you actually need to know how to do it...if you don't know that part then you can't add it. It's very easy to complain about missing features when you don't actually know how difficult it is to emulate something from scratch...

Patient is a good thing to have so just wait for the author to update it with working save state.
