No, keep the commandline. It is very useful for those who use a general emulator frontend (such as GameEx) to launch different emulators.

this tool is awesome!!
but I think that (for users that don磘 have a strong CPU - or single core XP) it will be great to implement a option that let you select in wich screen do you want to apply the filter so the other screen will stay without any filter and you can play your game without any speed hit.

I realize of that because when I use the single sreen mode option with filters (HQ2X for example) my CPU can handle 60FPS or 30FPS without speed hit.. so I think that if you apply a filter to only one screen the speed will increase.

Thanks.
I know these problems.
First: I can't resolve it soon.
Second: Press Alt+F4 isn't a bad thing. Cause you should not press a wrong key to escape programs(e.g. Esc).
ya wtf esc just closes the program without warning you!? losing your game!?

thanks

That's related to the emulator, not this tool.

Nothing that he can do about it.

(Try using just no$gba and then pressing escape and the emu will also just close...proving it comes from the emu not the tool)

Remember that the Y resolution of your desktop must be bigger than 800.
example: 1152X864; 1280x800; 1280x1024...

I think that he meant that with the single screen mode there's only a little hit on CPU performance, but you have to watch only one screen, and he wants to see both of them, but with filters applied to only one screen (and the other without filters)
Anyway I don't think this solution is of any use, since the it's normal to have a little CPU hit with ONLY ONE SCREEN to be rendered

Well, I'm sure testehook can add an option to nullify the ESC key actions (by hooking the keyboard stack)
I'm sure of this since 6 month ago I made an application that did only this (prevent the emulator to exit due to an accidental ESC key pression)

Right?Testerhook!
If I deciphered your poorly written english correctly then I would like to reply this: I like to use one frontend for all my emulators (about 40 at this time). If you start different emulators from one interface, it is very easy to do this via command line options. I would suggest you check this page:GameEx - Game Front End and HTPC Software before blurting out and calling me stupid..

"Command line" is not unnecessary, and "command line" will not reduce the performance.
If V1.8.26 is slower than V1.8.24, you should check the options of myZoom.

command line "may not" reduce it,
but i mean that added more some of resource code may cause;
is command line necessary for zoom??
who one like to use command line to run a pg?

on hight performance PC may not see reduce.
i will wait the 1.8.27 release

It works here on Vista64 SP1. So probably a user failure.

Testerhook you really need to combine all the files again in the next version. Way too many people are only downloading only the update version and not getting the required files and then making erroneous posts about it not working.
If you need another filehost you can try zShare.

testerhook,

Any chance of being able to select roms inside of a 7z file. You can save lots of space by merging the parent and clone roms but if you load a 7z with multiple roms, myZoom loads all of the roms and opens up multiple instances.

As an example, both roms took 47MB zipped up but with 7z and both roms merged as parent/clone, the roms are 17MB only 7zipped!
