The 7-Zip is better and free than winrar. I always use 7-Zip. Winrar was my ex until I prefer 7-Zip over winrar.

Yes.7-Zip can compressed a lot either than WinRAR.It is free (not like WinRAR -> Trial) and you can have it at the official site: 7-Zip

Although I have seen several mentions of loading a game directly into myZoom / no$gba using the command line I cant find a how to do it. For example in a bat file: Code:
C:\DS\myZoom.exe mygame.exe C:\DS\Games\mygame.7z Any help would be most welcome Thanks AD |

Thanks for the replies What I am trying to do is run myZoom from a frontend called 3D ARCADE and this requires passing the game filename as a parameter, ie [myZoom.exe "c:\games\mygame.nds"] I am working on the problem using AutoIt and have had good results so far, I am also hoping to have my program auto manage profiles as NPM does. I will post more when everything is fully working and tested. AD |

my utility is now in BETA I have named it myZoomCL (Command Line) in honour of testerhook's great work. The files and full guide on how to get it working in 3D Arcade are here The utility should also work with any other front end that can pass a command line param. There is still work to be done on it, and I will keep you updated as it happens. |

Thank you very much testerhook, I didnt think many people would need it, which is why I wrote it myself. My little script also supports multiple configs similar to NPM by looking for a config of the same name as the game passed in the command line, then overwriting the NO$GBA.INI I'm also working on a parameter that sets the rotation at startup so you could pass the flag -normal, -left or -right and the game would start with the screen the right way up. example [myZoom.exe -right "more braintraining.nds"] If you like these ideas I would be honoured to see them in later versions of myZoom. Thank you again. |
