Nah, Windows 98 can run on a much less powerful system. The minimum requirement for Windows XP was a 300 MHZ processor.

The minimum for 98 was a 66 MHZ 486 DX.

i think Dualscreenman you should change the title in the FAQ about the savetype to that usual message the ppl get "bla bla bla reinsert card..." so the noobs can know that this question is in there as i see lots of ppl still say is not in there

A suggestion:

Throw in the question "How do you make no$gba to go faster?"

I have a vision of the spam fest without it.

Edit: Also, throw in something about pressing the save options button after setting up the save type/emulation option.

Suggestion:

Why this name
The first part is because... (NO$)
"Nocash is meant as a statement against consum and luxory."
http://nocash.emubase.de/about.htm

And the GBA. means it because was born to be a gba emulator.

Well, I 'm curious to know how you're going to answer that.

Although limited, it still brings me curiosity. Why Martin comments that DOS is the superior OS, and why he made DOS GBA emulator?

And how to use it? Just answer this question here, after that then I shall close my case.

How do I do multiplayer?
You don't. As of 2.6 the emulator's wifi emulation is not advanced enough to support multiplayer or wifi of any sort. Until the DS's wifi chip is reverse engineered more, this will not change.
Okay...so...this means Wi-Fi doesn't work at all, even without multi-player?
Cause I can't get mah Wi-Fi to work. :|

If you actually had a DS you would know the answer to that question....

Mainly because with DOS, you can have intimate access to computer hardware. Not to mention, there is zero overhead of other applications that can interfere with the program's execution.

That's not the case, Roihu, but obviously you didn't read the reply directly after yours.

In the words of Martin Korth, read again or give up.

That's not the point I'm trying to ask. The WiFi feature in No$gba isn't working much at all, so what's the point for it in the beginning?

I do have DS, I do have DS games, and a way to dump the games from the cartridges to the computer.

^Well that's a much better question than "What's wifi for".

The reason is that it's a start. Just because 3D isn't perfect doesn't mean it shouldn't be there at all. The same goes for wifi. But this really isn't the thread to ponder why a certain feature is included but not working yet.

....what are you talking about? there is no WiFi implmentation in no$gba...at least nothing that works yet....if you are talking about the link features that exist then they come from the GBA only days of no$gba...

There is an implementation, it's just broken to the point that no commercial games will work.

Yeah that's true...but to avoid confusion it's best to say it pretty much does not exist.
